We’ve had rain off and on today. We definitely need it. Skit and Sheza decided to take cover.

Miss Murphy lost a tooth. It is often a natural part of aging because their long tooth roots eventually run out. She gets soaked feed and pellets, so she’s able to eat and get nutrition. I give her a little bit of hay so she has something to chew.

The farrier comes every eight weeks. One horse got new shoes, and the other eleven got trims.

We’ve finally received some much-needed rain. The horses got to enjoy a rainbow during breakfast.

Miss Murphy, the blind mini, somehow got stuck in her water bucket. Or she felt her front hooves needed cleaning. Regardless, she was safely removed, and the bucket was cleaned and refilled. Silly horses.

We’ve had some rain this past week, and the turnouts are greening up. The horses were slow coming in for breakfast this morning. Too many tasty greens to pass up.

My friend’s pigs. They’re enjoying some plums and celery. It’s too bad they’re so skinny.
