Scarabi is a cute little girl with a striking white face, soft brown eyes, and a warm brown and white coat that gives her a distinctive, eye-catching look. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 31st, and at 3 years old, this sweet girl is right in the prime of her life.

Scarabi is very energetic and would thrive with an active family who can match her enthusiasm - whether that means daily walks, playtime, or an adventurous lifestyle. She is also very food motivated and sits nicely for treats, showing off a solid foundation of training paired with an eager, engaged personality.

At 3 years old, Scarabi is well past the unpredictability of puppyhood, offering adopters a clear sense of who they are bringing home from day one, while still having plenty of playful energy and life ahead of her.

Meet Chacey and his best friend, Coco! This bonded pair was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 8/5 when their family moved and couldn't take them along. Their former family shared that both boys are good with children and other dogs. Chacey and Coco are friendly but a little shy at first. With a little time, patience, and love, we're sure they'll settle into a forever home and let their wonderful personalities shine. Could you be the one to keep these best friends together?

Chacey is approximately 4 years old and weighs 56 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Chacey did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Tank is a big teddy bear of a dog, with a striking tri color coat, soft brown eyes, and a broad, gentle face that gives him an instantly endearing look. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on August 5th after his previous owners were no longer able to keep him due to frequent travel. At 3 years old, this good-looking guy is right in the prime of his life.

Tank is a little on the shy side, staying quiet and calm in his kennel, but he already knows how to sit, showing a good foundation of training and a willingness to connect. His gentle, teddy bear presence makes it easy to imagine him settling comfortably into a home environment once given the chance to relax.

He is house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and good with children, having previously lived alongside a 14 year old in his past home. His compatibility with cats is unknown, so a slow, supervised introduction would be the best approach for households with feline family members.

Tank also has a significant chicken allergy, so his new family will need to be mindful of his diet and avoid chicken-based foods and treats. With a little care around mealtime, this is a very manageable part of his routine.

Shelby is a beautiful and petite 2 year old shepherd mix that was brought to the shelter on 7/30 and is absolutely terrified. It is just so loud and scary for her. She is hoping to find her forever home and get out of this cage! She may be frightened but she is so very sweet. She is up to date on her vaccinations but is heartworm positive. This is highly treatable by the shelter! She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. This sweet girl is only 33lbs, a great size. She also sits when asked. Jett is a cute black and white boy with a crisp white blaze down his face, warm brown eyes, and a big, friendly smile that lights up the moment he sees a familiar face. He was found as a lost dog wearing identification and arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 27th. At just over a year old, this good-looking guy still has a little filling out to do before reaching his estimated adult weight of 50 to 60 pounds.

Jett is sweet and playful, with an easygoing energy that makes him a joy to be around. He knows sit when asked, showing off a solid foundation of training, and he is good on a leash, making him a pleasant, well-mannered companion for walks and outings. That combination of playfulness and good behavior is exactly the kind of balance many adopters hope to find in a young dog.

Meet sweet Belvedere! This gentle boy came to the shelter as a stray on 8/29 and is still waiting for his family—or a fresh start in a loving home.
Belvedere is an easygoing, laid-back dog who stays quiet in his kennel. He enjoys leisurely walks, taking time to sniff and explore, and he's a pleasure to walk on leash. He's also a smart pup who knows several commands, including sit, down, and stay. Best of all, Belvedere absolutely loves belly rubs and is ready to share his sweet personality with a lucky adopter.

Charlie is a sweet tri color and brown Belgian Shepherd/Hound mix with soft brown eyes and a gentle, thoughtful expression. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 25th, along with his companion Tigger, after the two came into the shelter due to a difficult crisis situation affecting their home. At 8 months old, Charlie still has plenty of growing ahead of him before reaching his estimated adult weight of 70 to 80 pounds.

Charlie is a sweet boy who tends to be shy, taking his time to warm up to new people and new surroundings. He does well on a leash, showing a good foundation to build on as he continues to settle in. With patience and a calm, steady presence, dogs like Charlie often blossom beautifully once they feel truly safe.

Charlie arrived at the shelter alongside Tigger, and the comfort of a familiar companion has likely been a steady source of support for both of them. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both dogs home together, so that companionship can continue.

Meet Kiwi (female) & Teddy (male)! These best friends were surrendered to the shelter on 6/28 after their family's housing situation changed. Their former family shared that both dogs are house-trained and good with children. Kiwi could use a nail trim and a little help reaching a healthy weight, but with some love and care, she'll be feeling her best in no time. Because of his age, Teddy may have the occasional accident in the house. Teddy also has skin allergies that will need veterinary care so he can look and feel his best. If you have a soft spot for deserving dogs who may be overlooked, come meet Teddy and Kiwi - you just might find your perfect match!
Kiwi is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 86 lbs. Teddy is approximately 8 years old, and weighs 46 lbs. Both are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative.

Crystal is a ten-month-old gold and white Shepherd mix with a stunning chestnut and white coat, a bold white blaze down her face, and a pair of pale, striking eyes that are absolutely impossible to forget. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 16th and the people who know her say her coloring is something special - and one look confirms that completely. At 40 lbs and still growing, she is estimated to reach 50 to 60 lbs as an adult - a beautiful, athletic girl with so much wonderful dog still to come.

Inside her kennel Crystal is a little shy and reserved - but the moment she gets outside, everything changes. She transforms into a joyful, playful, toy-obsessed girl who loves nothing more than grabbing as many toys as she can carry - and she has been known to fit three in her mouth at the same time. She already knows sit and lay down, which is a wonderful foundation for a ten-month-old dog still finding her footing.

The shyness Crystal shows inside is simply a reflection of how overwhelming the shelter environment can be - especially for a young, sensitive dog. The real Crystal is the one who bursts through that door, grabs her toys, and reminds everyone around her exactly how fun and wonderful she truly is. A calm, patient home will bring that girl out for good.

Crystal is beautiful, playful, and full of personality just waiting to shine.
