Ludy - 23246 - Kennel 852 - Arrived October 8, 2026, as a stray - Shepherd mix - tan and black - female - 6 years old - 53 lbs - Will be spayed prior to adoption - Up to date on vaccines - Heartworm negative

Ludy is a great dog, and she is a beautiful one. Her tan coat has darker shading along her back and a dark muzzle, and her expression is pure joy. Then there are her eyes: one is ice blue and the other is deep brown. It’s a rare and unforgettable pairing, and it stops people in their tracks.

Ludy arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on October 8, 2026. We don’t know where she came from or what her life looked like before now. We do know she is 6 years old and 53 pounds, in the prime of her life, with plenty of good years ahead of her.

Ludy walks nicely on leash and sits when told. She also loves treats, so she is ready to learn and to show off everything she knows. A dog with manners like hers is a joy to share your days with, from the first walk around the neighborhood to the last treat of the night.

Ludy is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed before she goes home. She has such a one-of-a-kind look and so much love to give, and a kennel isn’t the place for her. Come meet Ludy in kennel 852.

Charlie - ID # 20795 - Kennel #830 - Arrived July 14th - American Pit Bull Terrier Mix - White and Black - Male - 1 Year Old - 65 lbs (estimated adult weight 65-70 lbs) - Will Be Neutered Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative

Charlie is a cute white and black American Pit Bull Terrier mix with warm brown eyes, a soft, expressive face, and a big, easy smile that makes him instantly likable. His mostly white coat with black markings around his ears gives him a distinctive, handsome look. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 14th, and at 1 year old, this good-looking boy is just about done growing, with only a little filling out left to do before reaching his full adult size.

Charlie is a sweet, quiet dog with a wonderfully calm demeanor - he spends much of his day peacefully resting on his Kuranda bed, content and relaxed in his surroundings. This easygoing nature suggests he would likely settle into a home environment with ease, adapting comfortably to a quieter, more low-key lifestyle.

He knows how to sit nicely for a treat, and his face lights up at the chance to earn a yummy reward, showing off both a good foundation of training and a gentle, food-motivated personality. There is something especially endearing about a dog with such a calm spirit paired with that eagerness to please.

At 1 year old, Charlie has so much of his life still ahead of him, and his calm, sweet temperament makes him a wonderful prospect for a wide range of homes, whether quiet or lively. He is waiting in Kennel #830 with that sweet smile and easygoing spirit, ready for the family who will give him the loving home he deserves.

Meet Chacey and his best friend, Coco! This bonded pair was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 8/5 when their family moved and couldn't take them along. Their former family shared that both boys are good with children and other dogs. Chacey and Coco are friendly but a little shy at first. With a little time, patience, and love, we're sure they'll settle into a forever home and let their wonderful personalities shine. Could you be the one to keep these best friends together?

Chacey is approximately 4 years old and weighs 56 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Chacey did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives treatment. Please come meet Chacey in kennel 801; his ID # is 21435.
