Happy October! I’m Chalupa! I came to GM, along with my siblings. We are known as the “Taco Bell” crew! This was back in June. Because I was the shyest of the bunch, I went to foster care to gain some confidence and learn to trust people. My siblings weren’t as nervous as I was, so once they were ready for adoption, they all found families pretty quickly! I left my foster home in August and came to the shelter. Unfortunately, I haven’t had any luck finding my family yet. I guess because I am not an “in your face, jumping in laps” kind of kitten. I am still a little on the shy side, so I tend to hang back, waiting for someone to notice me. I guess that’s why I haven’t found my family yet. It’s the social kittens that get picked first. But I will say, I am getting better! I don’t run if someone approaches me and when they pet me, I actually really love it! I also like being held, and I am OK being held like a baby. I feel so loved that when someone holds and cuddles me, I will purr up a storm. And if you kiss me on top of my head, I will purr even louder! I would really love to have a human of my own to cuddle and love on. I will need someone that will be patient with me while I adjust to my new home, but once I do, I know I will be the perfect companion. I probably won’t do great in a super active home, so maybe a quieter home with older children or adult only would be best. And of course, I will need some kitty friends too.
