🐾 Disappointing Update for Community Cats 🐾

We have some tough news to share. Due to county contract funding running out, we have been forced to temporarily cancel our upcoming TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) / clinics. As well as A # altering for rescues.

We know how vital this program is for controlling the community cat population and keeping our neighborhood kitties healthy, and providing for more live release at animal control. We are absolutely heartbroken to hit this roadblock.

But we aren't giving up! 💪
Our team is already actively working on alternative funding solutions, partnerships, and grants to get things back up and running as soon as possible.

🐾💕TNVR DAYS🐾💕:

Drop off 8:30-9 am the day of or the evening before from 4-5pm
Each cat must be in its own humane trap.
Pick up is same day of surgery 4-5pm . We do not have enough staff to care for/ feed them to keep overnight after surgery. It also risks escape and injury to the humans when placing food/ cleaning while awake.

Good morning everyone it’s Pepe here, I just wanted to check in and say hello. I don’t know if you remember when me and my friend were picked up on the side of the road by two amazing women and we were brought to Barky Pines well sadly when we went to see the vet, it turned out that I had tested positive for heartworm. I was so disappointed to hear that. .My humans failed at caring about us, but that’s ok cause now we are safe and being taken care of !! these people do care , and the blessing is that I have finished my first part of the treatment which is 30 days of doxycycline now I am ready for my injections. I’d like everybody to be aware of how important it is to give a monthly prevention for heartworm to avoid anything like this and that your dog won’t have to suffer the pain of going through the injections. I’ll be fine in about a month, but it takes a while to feel better. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you your friend Pepe.

Today we brought more joy to our seniors at the Royal Palm Beach Adult Day Care
Cotton was amazing and had so much fun loving on everyone. It’s such an honor to bring such smiles to their faces just by having our pups sit on their lap ❤️🐾❤️

We would like thank Doctor Baum from Peak Veterinary Surgery and his staff for taking such wonderful care of Bella today..she did amazing and we are on our way home !! ❤️🙏🐾🙏❤️
