This is the entire Top Shelf Crew -Spunky the birthday boy, (long haired tabby), Nubbins ( all grey) and Cabbage (grey and white). They each found one another and never has there been a more bonded set of three! 🐱🐱🐱
They just “get” each other and are so happy together. They spend some time hanging out “downstairs “ but the vast majority of their time is just above us all - above our arms reach, but still in the mix. We will make sure they stay together 💕

This weekend we celebrated the 10th BIRTHDAY of our gorgeous “look but don’t touch—yet” cat Spunky. Spunky is a member of the top shelf crew at Kitten Rescue—The woman presenting his special birthday meal is Kelly, who run the Instagram page, the page AND is cat mom to Spunky’s mother FLUFFY.
Believe it or not, Fluffy has given in to the tame cuddly life, and we know Spunky’s day will come. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPUNKY! 👏😻🎊🎉🎂

Bennie’s foster mom claims that he is not a Miranda…ermmm, fashionista, but based on all the evidence, we beg to differ💅At adoption events he likes to style himself with his blankets by wrapping them around him with his face partially uncovered so he looks like a wise old babushka👵🏼. He loves to make people smile and is very much aware that wearing these ridiculous costumes, being a silly goof when playing, and being a hands on supervisor of daily human activities never fails to bring joy into the lives of everyone around him. 🌹Rosie, on the other hand prefers to be more practical and doesn’t care for fashion (cerulean blue? 👕never heard of her!). When she directly gazes at you it comes off a bit intense, like she is the Egyptian goddess Ma'at who judges the worthiness of souls to enter the afterlife (Rosie's birth name was Cleopatra so it is suiting that she gives off Egyptian goddess vibes👑⚜️). Her gaze may be intense, but the loud purring and big biscuit making, is even more so. She is the kind of cat that is happiest just being in the same room as her people where she can feel involved in whatever they're doing just by being close to them.🥺 if you’re interested in meeting the entire cast, then swing by Tail Town, Pasadena (.cats), this afternoon! It’s already a GREAT adoption weekend at Kitten Rescue. 🥳😻🎉 Our dedicated volunteer Shannon fell in love with two kitties from our “cheese litter”, Brie and Cheddar. 🧡🧡 These kitties had been waiting patiently for the right human to come along and adopt them together, and their dream finally came true! 🐱🏡🐱

Cam viewers on our explore.org live cams may know their new mom/adopter Shannon for her work with our special needs CH kitties on the nursery cam. Shannon does many other great things for Kitten Rescue (most recently commanding the merch table at our Kitten Shower last month). Now we get to hear updates on the “cheeses” too! 🥰

⚔️🐾The Three (plus two) Musketeers🐾⚔️ One for all, all for treats!😋 Romeo, Stella, and Hailey are ALL swinging by PetSmart, Canoga Park (), this afternoon! 💙 True to his name, Romeo is the love bug of the group, living for cuddles and stealing your heart😎💗 Stella is the brave adventurer, confident, curious, and known for her legendary side-eye.👀 and 💜 Hailey is the gentle sister with a heart of gold🌟 so come meet them and fall in love❤️ plus we’ve got two bonus musketeers over at Perry’s Place, NoHo, brother & sister Vinny and Mona 🎉 they’re BIG kittens who are very bonded and extremely playful, loving together, purry and full of zoomies🏎️. They LOVE nuzzling and being affectionate. Vinny and his suave musketeer mustache🥸 and lightning bolt⚡️ pattern exude cool, while sister Mona, is a dainty little girl who loves to hop onto cat tree perches and give purry affectionate love after long play sessions with catnip mice🐭 and if that isn’t enough, we have even more cats over at Tail Town, Pasadena (.cats), PetSmart, Sherman Oaks, and our sanctuary over at Atwater Village🔥 see you soon!

Wesley, Cashew, Popcorn 🍿Pumpkin🎃 Chance, Hope🙏 Tessa, Lilo, Ruiz, Burrell, Fluffster, Grace Chow, and Mary are ALL swinging by various adoption events this weekend and you simply CANNOT miss them! New Arrivals! 🐱🐱This pair of siblings is Hades (green eyes) and his sister Persephone (golden eyes). They are just under a year old but their lives sure have been eventful in that short time. Street rescues, Hades and Persephone were trapped, spay/neutered and eventually adopted.
Then poor Persephone fell off a balcony and broke her leg, 🙀which needed to be amputated. Both kitties were eventually surrendered and now they are at our sanctuary, just settling in.
If all goes as planned they’ll be ready for adoption soon. 🙏
