Here’s the reality, we are financially struggling. With slim to no adoptions, it’s really taking its toll on us. We always love to give back to our supporters as much as we can. Without you, we are nothing 🥺 so…..

We don’t want to coast. We want to be everything we can be for these babies ❤️ we have paused most surrenders at this point to focus on our residents, but that doesn’t mean we turn away emergencies. We recently had 2 Keets who have liver disease come into our care and a very old cockatiel.

Our Super Goldie Ducky is fighting her congestive heart failure. And our precious Dani the military macaw is fighting her beak cancer. These things all contribute our financial aspects and time. These babies will continue needing financial care and we will fight to our last breath to give it to them ❤️

Meet Moony the cockatiel!!

Moony is a heart stealer, be careful ❤️👀

This spunky girl is looking for her forever home. Moony has been such a joy to foster. She lights up the room with her perfect balance of sweet and spicy 😈 this bird loves nothing more than to be with her people!! She will happily sit either on your shoulder or by you alllllll if you let her ❤️ she will try to preen you and ask for scratchies too 😝Moony is all bark and no bite- she will act all sassy but does no harm and in reality, wants to do whatever you’re doing. She plays hard to get I guess 💁‍♀️ she requires a lot of attention and out of cage time. Though, she does love her cage as home base and does well in it 🏠

Moony is a girl and has laid eggs before (not fertile, she also wasn’t interested in them). She has gotten hormonal and stressed in the past which led her to begin to pluck her chest and leg feathers. She has begun to let them grow in a bit more as of late!! 😁 she still plucks occasionally and might always have that habit, so it’s definitely something to keep an eye on if you adopt Miss Moony ❤️❤️

Meet Peewee and Herman ❤️🦜

Peewee and Herman are a bonded pair of conures who are looking for their forever home 🏠

Herman is a brave and adventurous soul. He loves to land on your head to check out what you’re up to, especially if you have a potential snack for him to steal 👀 he will step up and is quite handleable. VERY treat motivated 😝 he likes to take his reward and share some with his bestie Peewee 🫶🏻

Peewee is a timid sweetheart ❤️ He so badly wants to be as brave as his best friend but needs someone who will take the time and patience to help get him there. He loves being near his people (and bestie, duh) and checking out what you’re doing 🦜

Both of these cuties are very curious. When they are separated or across the room from each other, they flock call and reunite. This being said, they must go together! When wrangled and held, they are not nippy and both will accept scratchies and kisses 💋 they have been around other birds and live in harmony with them, but stick to their own agenda 📝

Peewee and Herman are not DNA sexed.
