Ready for breakfast! Our two newest residents, Forrest and Jenny, know the routine already! They are currently living in our quarantine area, so have to watch everyone else head into the main barn at mealtime. It won't be long before they can join the rest of the herd!

You may have heard about the 25 slaughter bound horses who were impounded by the NYS Police last month. The New York State Humane Association - NYSHA has orchestrated the quarantine care in Saratoga County along with Equine Rescue of VT. Shout out to these organizations for taking on this big project!
We were honored to be asked to foster a couple of the horses once they were ready to be moved, and they arrived today! Welcome to BAHR, Jenny and Forrest, as we now call them! Although they have a complete vet inspection, they will be in quarantine here until we have our own vet clearance, just out of caution, so no visitors please. Click the photos for the details we know so far.
