Welcome back, Pandora! Times are tough and in many cases horses are a luxury many can no longer afford. Pandora came to us as part of a neglect case a few years ago. She recovered, was started under saddle here, then was adopted out. She is estimated to be 18 years old now, but has no health issues or special needs. She is sound and healthy. She has not been ridden since adopted, so will need to be restarted, but she is level headed and sensible. Give us a couple weeks to get her vetted and evaluated and she will be ready to find her forever home! Go to www.beginagainrescue.org to fill out an application.

There should be more ethical equine businesses like Letchworth Trail Rides, who care about the future safety and happiness of their horses, even if they can't work in the program. We are so glad we could facilitate the safe placement of Trigger in a forever home.

We source our trail riding horses from all over. Some are donated, some are purchased privately, and some come from auction.

Over the years, we’ve brought horses home from auction knowing it is always a bit of a gamble. Unfortunately, Trigger sustained an injury prior to coming to the farm that was not disclosed at the auction. After veterinary evaluations, x-rays, medication, and a lot of thought, we realized Trigger’s path was leading him somewhere different. I don’t believe in coincidences, and I truly believe these horses come to us for a reason — we are simply the middle stop to their forevers.

Trigger deserved a softer landing, a place where he could be loved on and used lightly without the demands we would need from him here. So we reached out to Begin Again Horse Rescue to help ensure he was fully vetted and matched with the perfect home.

This weekend, Trigger left us for a new pasture, and while we will miss him deeply, we are so grateful to have been part of his journey and so excited for the life ahead of him. ❤️
