Exciting news all around!!

・Maple goes home tomorrow (she will be in training for a therapy dog!)

・My business cards came in - and I gave out my very first one yesterday (calm, settled puppies at the dealership really does the trick 👌)

・It's officially the 'BER' months!! Happy Spooky Season 😍 🎃 👻

Maple tagged along with us to work on leash manners and just existing around all the weird stuff the world has to offer.

The giant Halloween decorations were a HARD no at first.. so we gave her some space, worked on other things, took plenty of breaks, and came back to them later. By the end, they weren’t quite so suspicious.

This is one of my favorite parts of taking training out into the real world. We’re not looking for perfect obedience the entire time.
Sometimes the win is just a dog getting a little more comfortable and confident. One of my favorite parts of training is being able to watch that happen in real-time.

What completely normal thing has your dog decided is absolutely terrifying?

Way to go Shadow!

She was nervous of the cars going down the road when she first came to us. Now she is working on a nice loose leash walk on the road with the cars zooming by!

Throwback to last Winter when we got one of my favorite videos of me and Voodoo!

This was the best weave she had offered at time time, and I was TICKLED at how clean it was (if you can't tell by my face at the end of the video 😂)
