🚨 INDIANA FOSTER NEEDED FOR BRUNO!

At 8 years old, Bruno needs someone willing to open their home and heart to give him a fresh start. His family can no longer afford the medical care he needs, and Lucky Lab would like to help, but we can only do so with a willing foster!

Bruno is great with dogs, cats, and kids! He has some skin issues that need attention, but Lucky Lab Rescue will cover all veterinary expenses, including treatment for his skin, updated vaccinations, and preventatives!

Bruno needs a safe, loving home where he can get the care he deserves and begin his next chapter. Could you be Bruno's hero?

Fostering is temporary, but the difference you will make in his life is forever!

Available for adoption in INDIANA & NEW ENGLAND — Alvin! ❤️🐾

At just under 2 years old and 45 lbs, Alvin is the perfect mix of adventure buddy, playmate, and professional cuddler!

Alvin LOVES being outside, whether he’s running around the yard, playing catch, exploring, or stopping to investigate every intriguing smell along the way. He is an energetic, fun-loving guy who is always ready for his next adventure!

Alvin is also a big fan of toys and loves a good game of tug with his Great Dane foster brother. He has also been introduced to smaller dogs and has done well with them. Alvin enjoys having a canine playmate to run around and have fun with.

And Alvin isn’t just cute, he is super smart, too! He knows how to sit and has been working on sitting and patiently waiting at mealtime until he is given the okay to eat. He is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for continued training and plenty of new tricks.

Alvin is housetrained and crate trained. He does wonderfully in his crate without whining.

Once the playing is done and Alvin has gotten his energy out, his cuddly side takes over. He loves settling in with his people, soaking up affection, and enjoying some quality snuggle time.

Alvin would love an active family who will give him opportunities to run, play, explore, keep learning, and, of course, cuddle! In return, you’ll get one happy, affectionate, goofy sidekick who is ready to make himself right at home.

If you’re looking for a young adventure buddy who can play hard and snuggle even harder, Alvin might just be your guy!

Alvin is available for adoption in Indiana and New England. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on preventatives.

Lucky Lab Rescue is looking for a FOSTER or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT for Annie in TEXAS. This is a chance to adopt a dog that may be a purebred Lab. (We don't DNA test the dogs; we go by looks.)

Annie is 4-5 years old and LOVES being with people and other dogs. There was even a pig at the shelter, and she didn't seem to care. She is likely potty trained. Annie is described as a cuddle bug, and she loves it when humans are home. She adores curling up in people's laps.

She weighs about 50 pounds but needs to put on some weight and will likely be about 65 pounds when she fills out. While you foster, Lucky Lab pays for all her medical bills.

We rescued Annie from a shelter. She went to a foster home where she didn't have a chance to decompress right out of the shelter, which set her up to fail when she got scared in a new environment all alone. Then she got kicked out, and now she's in a doggie daycare facility, trying to figure out why her life has had so much upheaval when all she wants is a loving home.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and we will get her microchipped.

Please fill out a Texas volunteer/foster application on our website www.luckylabrescue.com

Available for adoption in New England and the Midwest: Johnny — part-time snuggle bug, full-time sweetheart!

At around 3 years old and 50lbs, this handsome boy is still figuring out that life can actually be… pretty amazing. Toys? Treats? Cozy beds? Playtime with dog friends? Johnny is slowly discovering all the little things he may have missed out on before, and watching him learn is something really special.

He can still be a little timid with quick movements, but once he feels safe, his gentle yet bright personality shines through. Johnny loves playing with his foster sibling pups, does well with cats, and has already mastered one very important life skill: bedtime routines. When the day is done, he curls up in bed with his foster parents and sleeps soundly through the night.

Johnny is still working on perfecting house training, but he’s making great progress every day with the help of his foster family. A family committed to continuing his training will make the transition to his forever home easiest.

Unlike your typical “inhale the entire bowl in 3 seconds” kind of Lab, Johnny prefers to snack casually throughout the day. Honestly, it fits his personality perfectly. He is just a gentle soul with loving eyes wrapped up in a gorgeous red coat!

Johnny is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on preventatives. Most of all, he’s an incredibly sweet dog with a soft heart who is ready for someone to show him what happily ever after feels like.

Apply to adopt Johnny in the Midwest or New England on our website www.luckylabrescue.com!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN INDIANA: Waddles! 💛

Waddles is an adorable 12-week-old yellow Lab mix weighing almost 14 lbs, and this sweet girl is full of personality, puppy energy, and love!

Waddles is a happy, playful puppy who loves to run, explore, and have fun! She absolutely adores other dogs and especially loves a good game of tug-of-war with her canine friends or her humans. She’s also a true little Lab who loves sticks and tennis balls, even figuring out how to carry a tennis ball by the fuzz when it was too big for her mouth!

After a busy play session, Waddles is more than happy to settle down for some snuggles. She still believes she’s a lap dog and will happily curl up with her person for a well-deserved nap!

She’s also doing wonderfully with her puppy training! She’s making great progress with crate training, often going in on her own, and continues learning to go outside to potty.

Waddles is playful, affectionate, and ready for a family who will enjoy her fun-loving personality, continue her training, and give her all the cuddles she deserves!

Waddles is up to date on age-appropriate puppy vaccines and preventatives, and is microchipped. As with all puppies, she’ll need continued training, patience, and plenty of love as she grows.

Available for adoption in Texas: Collins!

At just 1 year old and about 50lbs, Collins is the perfect blend of youthful energy and snuggles.

Collins firmly believes the best seat in the house is whichever one is closest to you. Preferably touching you. Just to be safe.

Once you’re in her circle, you’re in for life. She follows her foster like a devoted little shadow and is convinced that every task is better when done as a team.

Cooking dinner? Together. Folding laundry? Together. Sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing? Especially together. In Collins’ world, personal space is more of a suggestion.

She can be shy when meeting new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. But once she feels safe, she melts. Truly melts. She’ll lean into you like she’s been yours forever.

She is currently building confidence during life’s solo moments, like when her people leave the house. Because she bonds so deeply, being alone hasn’t always been her favorite thing. The good news? She’s making wonderful progress with structure, consistency, and medication support. We’re already seeing her grow braver.

She will need a patient, understanding home, committed to continuing that journey and cheering her on. Collins would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not and where she has a confident canine sibling. Another dog isn’t just a bonus for her; it’s truly important. She gains comfort and confidence from having a dog friend to follow and learn from.

Collins does well with cats, too!

And if she wasn’t cute enough already, she knows some Spanish! Bilingual queen energy.

She’s looking for a calm, stable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get unwavering devotion, endless snuggles, and a best friend who thinks you are the greatest thing that has ever happened.

Collins is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and officially ready to start her next chapter with her forever family.

If you’ve been searching for a loyal little shadow with soulful eyes and an even bigger heart, Collins is waiting!

See more photos of Collins and apply to adopt on our website!
