🐱 Feline Leukemia Awareness Day – A day to spread awareness about Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), the importance of testing, prevention, and routine veterinary care to help keep cats healthy.

Pets are experts at hiding when they don’t feel well. That’s why it’s important to watch for small changes, such as:

🐾 Eating less than usual
💧 Drinking much more (or much less) water
😴 Sleeping more than normal
🎾 Not wanting to play or go for walks
🤢 Vomiting or diarrhea that doesn’t improve
❤️ Changes in behavior or personality

As you celebrate, remember that fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends. Keep pets indoors, make sure they have a secure place to relax, and ensure their ID tags and microchip information are up to date just in case they get startled.

To make sure your pets don’t run out of their medications over the holiday weekend, please plan ahead and pick up any needed prescriptions by Thursday, July 2nd.

If your pet needs refills for medications, including anxiety medication to help with fireworks, give us a call as soon as possible so we can have everything ready for you.
