Betty is around 6 years old. Today, she received a spa day and is hanging out with me. Her nails were in dire shape and she had matted fur. So a gentle brushing and hair cut were performed. Betty has the most lovely soft hair but it can get quite matted if I don’t keep her brushed and trimmed. Latte is getting daily hand feeds because she’s just not doing well. The perks of being on FMLA, the piggies get extra attention.

In this heat be sure to check on your piggies! Fresh water, cool place to chill and some fresh veggies! Today is not the day to take your babies on a trip or outside. This weather is dangerous for humans and animals alike!

This is Rutebaga and Spud. I thought they had a new home lined up but unfortunately things didn’t work out. It happens sometimes! So they are still available! They are so cute and so personable!! Won’t you consider adopting these two girls?

I’m continuing to heal 🙌🏽 but it’s a long road to recovery for a spinal fusion. I’m normally very active and workout hard and lift weights. I’m on week number 4 of total rest other than short walks. So when I’m not reading, I do like to watch movies with the girls: Latte and Nimbi love the snuggles and snacks during movie time!

Piepie and family donated piggy cage materials and hides.

Hi friends,
I’m really sorry for the silence. June was a terrible month for me personally and then I had spine surgery. So things at the rescue have been on hold. Additionally, I have had to turn away quite a few surrenders due to my physical limitations post surgery.

Anyway, hope you are having a great summer and please send healing vibes. A pigture of Ms. Piggy for tax. (She’s an older lady looking for her forever home.)
