There are 3 groups of bottle baby kittens needing immediate placement. They are still bottle feeding and need constant care, heat, and feedings every 2-4 hours. The shelter can provide any supplies needed for a foster. These babies MUST leave the shelter by TODAY, 9/8 by 4:30pm. Please email [email protected] if you can help any of these babies. Thank you.

🌻Flower (A051744) isa 5-month-old, medium, hair tabby kitten, and only weighs 1.7 pounds. Flower arrived severely thin, dehydrated, and not eating on her own. Flower gained some strength over the last few days with syringe feeds and meds. She is gentle, sweet, and in need of a hero. Flower's severe body condition and overall health will need a full-service evaluation and diagnostics. Flower is an AS-IS rescue ONLY case. 🪻Rhonda (A051160) is a 10-year-old, tan mixed breed dog, and weighs 80 pounds. Rhonda arrived as astray from the Hudson area. She is sweet, friendly, and loves attention. Rhonda’s age and health are not suitable for a shelter environment, and we are looking to get her our ASAP. Rhonda is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She is geriatric, arthritic, and needs a cozy couch to retire on. Rhonda is available for adoption OR rescue transfer. If you are interested in adoption, please come to the shelter during operation hours.

Meet Hannah Banana!!

Hannah (A046291) is a 5yo mixed breed spayed female. Hannah is the perfect family dog in search of her forever family. Hannah is a play group super star – she is social with other dogs!

Hannah has also been on field trips and recently spent some time in a foster home. Hannah’s foster mom shares that Hannah rides great in the car, takes treats gently, and is quiet & easygoing in the home. She loves walking around with her favorite toy - a stuffed pickle 🥒🥹

Hannah knows commands like “sit” & “shake” …she’s treat motivated, too. Hannah would be great in a home with another playful pup friend, but she’d do just as well as an only dog. Hannah’s notes indicate that she chased the cats in a previous home, so we would recommend slow integration to a family who may also have cats.

PLUS!! ⭐⭐ Hannah is a 2-star dog! Since she's been at PCAS for over a month, her adoption fee is WAIVED!!

🌼Peeni (A039802) is a 7-year-old, white mixed breed dog, and weighs 42 pounds. Peeni arrived at the beginning of the month as part of an abandonment case with her sister dog. 😢 During Peeni initial medical exam, it was noted she had a mass on her mammary area. We were hopeful it could have be something that wouldn’t affect her, but sadly it has gotten worse. Penni’s mass has grown 3 times the size and now has calcified and darkened. Peeni has also battled with respiratory infections alongside her mass and need further medical assistance ASAP.

🙏 While medical care is being provided by PCAS, she does require care beyond the capacity of the shelter and the shelter is no longer appropriate for the medical care of the Peeni. Follow up with full-service clinic or primary veterinarian for further evaluation is needed. Peeni is dog friendly, sugar sweet, gentle, and is ready for retirement. Peeni is an AS-IS rescue ONLY case and needs placement by WEDNESDAY, 9/2/26 by 4pm.

Sad update 😞😓 Silas did cross the rainbow bridge this evening. She lost 3 more pounds, and her physical health was declining rapidly. She was surrounded by people who loved her until the very end. ❤ 🌈

🖤 Silas (A051497) is a 10-year-old black lab mix and now weighs 35 pounds. Silas was found a stray in the Hudson area. Silas has been a sweet senior since arrival and is dog friendly. ❤️

😢 Silas started losing significant weight and flagged for a medical recheck immediately. Silas lost almost 5 pounds in less than 2 weeks and started not eating and vomiting undigested food. Silas has been on meds for over a week with no improvement. Diagnostics show high liver enzymes and will require further testing to determine the concern. Silas has slowed down tremendously, has decreased appetite, and will require a full service recheck and senior work up.

🙏 Silas is an angelic girl who loves to be loved by all she meets. Silas is a 501c-3 rescue organization transfer ONLY. Due to her severe and rapid decline, Silas is on deadline for TODAY, 9/2 by 4pm.

📜Sonnet (A052439) is a 7-year-old, white shih tzu mix, and weighs 12 pounds. Sonnet arrived as a stray on 8/26 from the Holiday area after being found under a car. Sonnet’s eyes were severely infected when she arrived. A few days on meds, we sedated her for a clip and cleaned her fur and eye area. She had thick and inflamed skin, fractured teeth, mammary masses, and hernia. It’s clear this little girl needs immediate help. Her severe skin concerns may be due to an auto-immune skin disease and will require a full-service veterinarian follow up for further tests. Sonnet is sweet, gentle, and needs a hero to carrier her through this medical journey. Sonnet is a 501c-3 rescue organization transfer ONLY. Due to her severe and rapid decline, Sonney is on deadline for FRIDAY, 9/4 by 4pm.
