🐾🌈 Pet Memorial Day 🌈🐾

Today we remember the pets who left paw prints on our hearts forever. Whether they were with us for years or only a short time, the love and bond we share with our animals never truly leaves us.

Our pets are family. They comfort us, make us laugh, stand beside us during difficult times, and teach us unconditional love. Losing them is never easy, but their memories continue to live on in the routines they shared with us, the lessons they taught us, and the love they gave so freely.

Today, we honor the beloved companions we miss so deeply. ❤️

🐾 June is National Microchipping Month! 🐾

One of the simplest ways to help protect your pets is by making sure they are microchipped and that your contact information is kept up to date. Collars and tags can fall off, but a microchip provides permanent identification that can help reunite lost pets with their families. ❤️

Many pets become lost during:
🎆 Fireworks
🔥 Natural disasters
🚪 Open doors or gates
🧳 Travel and vacations
🐶 Fearful situations

Important reminder:
✅ A microchip is NOT a GPS tracker
✅ Your pet’s microchip MUST be registered
✅ Keep your phone number and address updated

According to shelter workers and rescue organizations, one of the biggest problems they see is pets with microchips that were never registered or updated.

It’s Pet Appreciation Week! 🐾❤️

This week is all about celebrating the pets who make our lives brighter every single day. Whether they greet you at the door, make you laugh, snuggle beside you, or simply keep you company — our pets truly become family.

One of the best ways we can show appreciation for our pets is by helping them feel safe, understood, and enriched. Training, mental stimulation, exercise, patience, and kindness all help strengthen the bond we share with them.

Give your pets an extra cuddle, a fun enrichment activity, a sniffari walk, or a special treat this week — they deserve it! 🐶🐱

🎆 Now is the time to start preparing your pet for 4th of July fireworks! 🐾

Many dogs and cats struggle with loud noises, and waiting until fireworks are already happening can make things much harder. Starting early gives your pet the best chance to build confidence and coping skills before the holiday arrives.

Signs of firework anxiety can include:
🐶 Barking or whining
🐱 Hiding
🐾 Pacing or trembling
🚪 Trying to escape
🍖 Refusing food or treats

The good news is there are ways to help! Training, desensitization exercises, enrichment, and creating a safe environment can all make a difference.

Some important things every pet family should have:

✔️ Emergency food & water supplies
✔️ Medication lists
✔️ Evacuation plans that include pets
✔️ Basic pet first aid & CPR knowledge
