I am not anti rescue. I am anti filling and contributing to rescues. Not every rescue is a bad rescue, just like how not every landlord is a scumlord.

Two things can be correct at the same time, I can eat yet love my animals. We strive for an amazing life with just a painless and quick death. We breed for meat. We breed for show. We breed for health. We breed for temperament.

All these things are why we breed. I invested in show stock to improve color projects. And, it shows in the quality of my color projects. I work hard every day to keep my animals happy and healthy. I have a return policy, I’ll take any rabbit no questions asked. Because, that’s what ethical breeders do.

I don’t believe every sob story animals needs be kept alive. Not every animal needs a wheelchair. Needs a whole medicine cabinet just to keep suffering. Sometimes culling is the right thing to do. That’s why I do what I do.

People will never like that I cull heavy, and, I am okay with that. But, I will continue to fill my freezer and not rescues.
