It was nail trim and ENS (early neuro stimulation) day. Needless to say little boy was pretty relaxed.

Well, the puppies are doing amazing. We are calling this the road trip litter.That is our theme.And that is what the call names for the puppies will be while they're with us. We chose the road trip theme because of how this litter came to be. When Nellie came into heat, the Stud dog happened to be in Maryland at the largest Labrador retriever show in the world. Referred to as the Potomac. I called Vonnie as she was driving back across the country to let her know that I really wanted to use Fade for Nelli's last litter. Luckily, she was able to make it all the way back to California before she needed to send the shipment to Idaho. There were a lot of miles between Maryland, California and to Idaho, hence the road trip theme. I think this is the busiest most active litter we have had in awhile. They are everywhere at 6 days old.

Fun things are happening at BlackRidge!
Show season has started. 3 day show in Caldwell this weekend. We have 2 shows planned for May and 1 or 2 for June. Fingers crossed we will have puppies late June. NELLI finally decided to cooperate and come in to heat a month early. Yeah! Fingers crossed for a successful breeding and beautiful happy puppies. Nelli is Multi group placing, NOHSBIS, MBOSS, GCHB BlackRidge Nothing Like a Dame BCAT. She also has her NOHS bronze and working toward her NOHS silver. She has taken us on quite a ride. Love my naughty Nelli.
