⚠️UPDATE ON ROSCOE⚠️
Roscoe was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease with sudden onset due to mild anemia & dehydration (which blows my mind cuz hes a water buffalo)

Roscoe will need a followup this week with internal medicine for an depth ultrasound and Sunday he goes into Banfield Vet for XRays as a followup for his pneumonia.
I have been picking up extra shifts at work to help offset these emergency visits however poor Roscoe just cant catch a break.
I was prepping dinner for the dogs tonight when I turned around and found a HUGE puddle of urine very dark with blood. See pics. Shortly after, Roscoe collapsed and became lethargic. I then rushed him to the vet. Roscoe really needs the support right now and always BRR Is a 501c3 Non Profit so all donations are tax deductible. Roscoe turned 16 today.
Hes recovering still from mild pneumonia so his celebration meal was Chicken, Jasmine Rice and some canned dog food.

⚕️Woke up at 3am to little Lucy having a seizure. An injection of Diazapam 💉 was given and ice packs 🧊 were placed along her lower back & the neck to help keep her cool. Im not sure if it helps, I want to believe it does but I was always told that during a seizure the brain overheats and its a good practice to keep them cool. Since I started placing gel packs, I think the seizures dont last as long....but it could just be me. Afterwards she was given a bath 🛁 cuz she urinated on herself during the seizure. Back to bed. 🛏 ❤️

🫶UPDATE ON ROSCOE🫶
The initial concern was a wet raspy cough, loss of appetite, nighttime chills.
We went to VCA VES Janesville Emergency. I had the suspicion of pneumonia and didnt want to wait to get him in to the primary vet our our rescue partner Underdog Rescue and Vet Services.
After some xrays and a Radiologist consult, they confirmed this handsome old man has pneumonia. We are home now and he is resting. He will be running a course of Clavamox for 4wks.

🙏If you are able to help in any way with his Vet bill it would be greatly appreciated more than you know. Im picking up extra shifts at work (which there are followers here that can confirm) to help cover additional medical expenses of the rescue. Roscoes Vet bill will be around $850 approximately. I will post a copy of the bill when I get it likely tomorrow. Donations are 100% tax deductible as we are a 501c3.
