Hurley's Animal Recovery Team, LLC (HART) is a Rock County-based, all volunteer group dedicated to trapping and reuniting lost pets with their families, assisting local animal control entities with the recovery of animals running at large, providing guidance and resources to lost pet owners, and educating the communi

ty on animal recovery best practices. HART was started in early January of 2021 by local animal welfare advocate and experienced dog trapper, James Hurley. Others who had worked with Hurley in the past quickly jumped on board to create a small but mighty passion group. Now, the HART team continues to grow as community members recognize the importance of HART's mission in Rock County and want to be a part of it.
