Y’all… it has been a HELL OF A WEEK!
I’m doing better now. I’m incredibly grateful that some shows were rescheduled. Everything happens for a reason, even if we don’t understand it in the moment.

I am planning to attend BOTH the Goshen, IN and Kalamazoo, MI shows (12th/13th) A night in a hotel somewhere else is frankly in order anyhow, but I am sincerely looking forward to having a few days on antibiotics, so I can see all my people!

I have been feeling incredibly lethargic while also dealing with a crazy amount of stress. I had some concerns about my heart that were taken seriously. I’ve done EKG’s, blood cultures, CT scans, urinalysis, absolutely everything in not 1, but 2 ER trips this week.

The result? Just another infection from broken teeth.
But considering I’m not exactly a “pro doctor” type of person based on my prior experiences, I was relieved that my lungs, liver, heart, and so on are actually in tip top shape. I know I’m only 29, but still, I’m slowing down just a little.

Y’all are stuck with me for a while it seems. 😉
Don’t I look like such a happy camper?? 😂

Unfortunately the Goshen, IN reptile show has changed dates from the 5th to the 13th, and we will not be able to attend due to a scheduling conflict.

I’m admittedly disappointed, but I’m sure it will still be an amazing show!

Parafilm is the bees knees! It’s so clean and it seals to itself incredibly well. This is a fresh tinctorius dart frog tank, so the screen needed a wrap. I’ve never used parafilm for this before, but now I’m never using anything else! I’m also looking forward to building this tank up more!

I’ve been working on making what I call “Black Gold flake soil”, in a manner that breaks all of the rules and standards. There is no wood/fuel pellets in this. It is truly 100% leaf chop/powder that has been fermented for 3 months indoors with other organic catalysts. I haven’t tried it just yet myself, but I am very, very excited to!
