Any of my clients looking for a gotten that was already trained by us!? Help us find her a home!!
📣 She's BAaaaAAAccCCkkkKK! 📣
Your favorite sassy-pants is back and ready to rock n' roll, again! Let us just preface that her adoptive family was absolutely distraught at drop off. While we have had experiences with less-than-ideal adopters and adoption returns, not all return situations are truly for lack of effort and energy; sometimes, despite every single best effort, you just run out of ideas. And in this situation, it wasn't even Bitsy's fault - which made the decision to return her even harder. The family who adopted her went through ALL the right steps with the RV Park when they applied to adopt and were approved. There were no issues, hiccups, nothing. But that all changed when the park owner moved onto the property as a resident and suddenly decided that "scary looking dogs" were no longer permitted. This impacted more than just Bitsy's family... but her family fought like hell. They scheduled multiple meetings, offered meet & greets, and prepared to request letters of support from us and Bitsy's trainer - but the owner wasn't hearing any of it. She decided that Bitsy "looked mean" and needed to leave. The family scouted other RV Parks, put out feelers with friends and family, and did every.single.thing.right. Ultimately, they were given an eviction notice if they continued to refuse, and with nowhere else to turn, they made the devastating decision to return.
There are many hearts broken tonight. But we know we've made a good friend in Bitsy's hopeful adoptive family and we know that in the future, when they're in a different position, they'll come back to us - whether for Bitsy or (hopefully she'll be adopted!) someone else.
SO. On that note! Bitsy is back on the market! She has gone through rigorous training and is incredibly intelligent. She is eager to please, loves to work, and has shown her mental strength in abiding by a disciplined and structured home environment. She has successfully lived with kids and other dogs and does well. Her big thing is that she needs a strong leader and handler who believes in structure in the home - if you have that, she will do fine! 🩷
Welcome back, Bitsy girl!
