Rolly and Mozes working together. Mo is learning to not engage overly excited with every dog and Rolly is learning to not engage reactive with intact males.
Annabelle had her sister arrive today. As per her face she was very happy to see her. They will learn to work together as a team. Then we have Echo the huskey and Scout. Echo was mortal support for scout who is learning to put on a muzzle without freaking out! Looking good!!!

We have Ronan, the black shepherd. He is our foster from Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue . He is absolutely wonderful. He is looking for a home. He knows his basics commands, dog friendly, very playful.
Echo, the huskey is on her last days here. She came in to learn how to be calmer and a recall she had done very well.
Rolly, the black pitty mix is here for manners, socialization, anxiety, a little bit of everything.
Scout, is a sharpie mix. He is here because he is super insecure and fearful. Unfortunately that ends with him being reactive. He had really given everything he could this week. Slow and steady wins the race.
Steve, the black poodle, is here to learn some manners, work on potty training, and socialization. He loves other dogs now. I can't wait for his mom to see him!
Last but not least we have Mozes, the Fila. He is so overly friendly he uses his big body to pull to any person or dog. He had no idea about a recall. Id like to report he is walking so much better on the leash. He is getting his command down.

A few dogs worked before the rain got us. Steve the little black poodle is here for basic manners and socialization. He is really doing well.
Penny the schnauzer mix is here boarding with training. She is very fearful. She has regressed a bit, but she still knows all her stuff and just needed a refresher.

We had our class for all the students from our Day training program Family Animal Hospital of Friendswood ! Everybody looked great.

We are day 3 into training at Family Animal Hospital of Friendswood . It's going great. We had everyone working together today. A clinic can be a really hard place for your dog to be calm and listen. All of these guys are learning skill sets they can take anywhere.
Sitting at a door
Walking on leash
Being calm around people and dogs
How to be calm when the techs and the vet are looking and probing you
We will be doing another class in dec/jan. We will keep you posted!

Teach your dog to do nothing! Teach them to wait and be calm. This is Jack and he is learning to be calm at the reception area of the vets office. He lacks impulse control. He is getting it.
