A house isn’t a home without Qtip(s)!

Found roaming the streets of Houston at just 5 months old, Qtip ended up at BARC where overcrowding put him at risk, through no fault of his own. Just a healthy little guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. RPM stepped in fast. Within a week he was transported, and the week after that he was adopted. He now lives in Colorado with a kitten brother and a whole lot of love. Not every rescue is a dramatic comeback story. Sometimes it’s just about opening the door before it closes.

Starlet has been in a kennel since 5/1. Volunteers and fosters are the foundation of every rescue, especially RPM. We are a transport rescue and we don’t adopt locally, so we run entirely on people who show up. If you can foster or volunteer, your local shelter needs you. Animals like Starlet have a plan, they just need love in the meantime.

40 cats! Some survived Houston’s streets. Others waited in shelters, running out of time. Now they are headed to Colorado where their new families are waiting. Comment if you see your foster! Happy tails, everybody!
