Due to the upcoming winter “storm” thats blowing in this weekend, (its not really a storm but has potential for some icy damage) I am closing from Saturday through Monday. Hoping for the best and to resume grooming on Tuesday but thats entirely dependent on our power grid and the freezing temps not lingering past Monday. To all my clients,

I have truly fought against price increasing for as long as i possibly could. I know for some this may be too high and I understand if you must find someone within your budget. Regardless I have appreciated all the support and loyalty y’all have provided.

The new drop off, pickup and scheduling policies are as follows:

Drop off must be at your scheduled appointment time. If you are early, you may be required to wait. If you are late, it is at my discretion if I can still work you in. Anyone later than 15 minutes will be rescheduled.

Pickup must occur within 10 minutes of the estimated completion text. Example, if you receive a text stating they will be ready in 20 minutes, you have at most 30 minutes before you start accruing a late pickup fee. It is $1 per minute past that 10 minute grace window.

Scheduling changes are primarily for violators of the drop off and pickup policies. No showing, cancelling, excessive lateness or requesting a change in under 24 hours of scheduled appointment will require a 50% nonrefundable deposit (through zelle, or venmo)in order to schedule another appointment. That deposit will be credited towards the next appointment, failure to keep that appointment will forfeit the deposit to compensate lost time

Previously matted pets were not charged extra, if it is your first time getting a pet dematted (shaved or brushed) there will not be any additional fees, however consistently showing up matted will result in additional fees to compensate for the extra time and work that goes into relieving them of matting. Likewise for pets with fleas.

I can help fix problems and get you on the right path to pet wellness, but it is your responsibility as the pet parent to ensure your pets health and wellbeing is taken care of. Those fees if applicable will be discussed at drop off and finalized at pickup.

As a reminder, please consider your pets stress during the next week with all the celebratory fireworks going off. Rather than complain about those who are enjoying themselves, lets be proactive and set our pets up for success with calming aids, medications and/or distractions. There are plenty of natural options to help soothe your fur babies and keep them from having a rough time. C*D, Lavender/Chamomile/Tryptophan chews, and talking to your vet about anxiety meds will do so much more for your pup than letting them deal with the loud celebrations under the bed hiding.
