Willow Wood Bernese Welcome to Willow Wood Bernese. We hope you enjoy looking at our fur family pictures. Our dam, Geneva has been health tested for hips/elbows/eyes/DM/VwD.

We love all of our Bernese Mountain Dogs and love having regular updates from our Willow Wood families. Willow Wood Bernese is a small breeder with no more than 1-2 litters per year. We breed for temperament and health to create quality family and companion dogs. Our puppies are purebred with limited AKC registration (no breeding rights). We are on BernerGarde # 154102. Our dogs and puppies are raised inside our home with family and receive lots of love and socialization. As part of their development, we employ the BioSensor program developed in the US military for early neurostimulation (www.breeding better dogs.com) and we employ topics of puppy development from Puppy Culture. Interested families may complete an application/questionnaire so we may get to know you a little before placing our puppies in adoptive homes. We also regularly have phone interviews. If approved, we will put you on our list to be notified of the next litter if we happen to not have puppies coming at the time of your interest. Through our page, we will announce when Geneva has been bred, pregnancy confirmed and when the puppies are whelped. We ask for a $500 non-refundable deposit with the remainder is due at puppy adoption day. Visitors are allowed on a limited basis at 6 weeks of age and may go home with their family between 8 and 9 weeks old. We are open to video visits as well. Before going home, puppies will be vet-checked, have dew claws removed, receive first set of vaccines, be micro-chipped and de-wormed. New families will complete limited AKC registration at adoption day as well. If you have more questions, let us know. With Willow’s passing, our pack dynamics have changed. Geneva is much needier- she has to be close and/or touching me or Don. She will lay close to Bode which she never did before. And Bode looks for attention/affection and re-assurance more than before. We are all adjusting 💔
