As the Dog Learns

Our first class session for Basic Obedience at Lakeshore Pet Boutique with 4 adorable doggos and their super cool families/humans!
This class is amazing because we have Cocoa who is only 15 weeks old! And Ladybug who is about a year, Stella who is 3 and Shaggy who is 10.5 yrs!
I love this!

Tonight we got to know each other- and we discovered many of the same issues- jumping, excited barking, lack of patience, and easily distracted! (I mean- I do have a tshirt that says Easily Distracted by Dogs- so who am I to judge?!)
We also worked on a focus game, the name game and sit with hand signals only and down with hand signals!
They did a really good job!!
Always- a special thank you to Randy Walker and Ana Rana, owners of the sweetest most accommodating pet boutique around for sharing their space with us and offering a generous discount and after hours shopping for my classes!

I have one opening left in the "help my dog won't stop barking workshop!!!"
We meet the next 3 Thursdays (11,18 and 25th) from 6:30-7:30 at Lakeshore Pet Boutique, downtown Douglas!
Trust me when I tell you this class is awesome. (Noisy sometimes, but well worth it!)

The pups are learning and playing and exploring! But i have to share these quick a minute because this is not easy in any way shape or form. Especially in the middle of play!
We are practicing sit while im not standing right in front of them but im a few feet or more away ! These two pups are getting it! Also- no treats!
First up- Grey!

We worked on doing some of our manners while everybody was running around and it's pretty impressive that they managed to pull it off basically…
We worked on sharing our toys with each other, we worked on off and give and a lot of leave it

Ann, Dan and Penny!!! If you could have seen her 2 months ago!!! She and they are doing b an incredible job working to build pennys confidence and her trust system. Shes not even a year old yet and she's growing v and booming every week!!! Im so proud of them all!
