FREEdom Tails Ohio FREEdom Tails Ohio is a registered 501(c)(3) animal rescue. We specialize in rescue & rehab and adoption if commercial breeding dogs.

We are 100% volunteer AND foster based. We have fosters located in Columbus (and surrounding suburbs), Canton, and Bryan. We respect and appreciate our foster’s time and efforts rehabilitating animals and do not set up meet and greets prior to an approval of an adoption application. The FREEdom Tails Ohio concession stand is in need of the following for next week:

All weeks are now posted and available for sign up.

No experience needed!! Just people to volunteer!!

It will require us all working together to bring volunteers to help!

16 and up welcome- so great for the entire family!

Dress code:
FTO Will provide you with 1 clippers T-shirt to wear for the entire season

The Clippers will provide you with a clippers baseball hat which you are required to wear (or you can opt for a hair net)
No leggings
No short shorts or cut offs
No crocs, open toe shoes or sandals
No gym clothes
No excessive jewlery
Black, tan or grey shorts, capris or pants
Clear bags/purses only

Parking is $5 we suggest carpooling to save parking $

You must stay until finished no “shifts”

There is a short online training you must do once to volunteer.

Nancy is a sweet 1 yearold Mini Poodle who is learning what it means to be safe and loved. While she is still very fearful of people, she is working hard to be brave and has started spending more time outside of her kennel, quietly exploring and observing the world around her.

Nancy will need a patient, understanding family that will allow her to build trust at her own pace. She is looking for a calm, quiet home without young children and must have another small, confident dog to help guide her and build her confidence. A secure fenced yard is also required, as she can be a flight risk when startled.

Nancy may not be ready for cuddles right away, but for the right family, watching her gain confidence and blossom will be incredibly rewarding!

MaryMae, our little Southern Belle, is as sweet as sugar and cute as can be. She is a 1-year-old Mini Poodle with a gentle heart who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. After a difficult start, MaryMae is understandably timid, but she is already making wonderful progress.

When she first arrived, MaryMae spent nearly all of her time in the safety of her kennel. Now, she is becoming more comfortable spending time out and about and will even come sit on the couch with her foster mom. While she is still cautious around people and new situations, she is working hard to be brave every day.

MaryMae is looking for a calm, quiet home with another friendly small dog to help guide her and build her confidence. A secure fenced yard is required, as she may run if frightened. Because loud or busy homes can be overwhelming for her, she would do best in a home without children. She has not yet practiced leash walking.

Dolly is a doll! So sweet and gentle. She loves to give gentle licks and wags her tail when anyone greets her. She finds safety in her crate and sometimes needs coaxed out. But once she’s out she enjoys checking on everyone, getting scratches and kisses. Dolly loves to explore the yard but will require a fence because she is still a skittish. After a years of breeding with little to no grooming and cramped living conditions, she is getting stronger and more confident by the day! She would thrive in a home with other dogs who could help her continue to learn how to be a pet.

She is housebroken and sleeps through the night in her crate! She likes dogs and people, she has not been cat tested.

Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and gentle personality truly shines.

She enjoys cozy naps tucked under the covers, stretching out in sunny spots, relaxing in a tall cat tree, and staying close to her people. When she’s ready, Jelly will come to you for pets or quietly keep you company nearby.

Jelly does well with other cats, has been around older children, and would likely do best in a quieter household. She does not seem to mind dogs, though she would prefer calmer pups who respect her space. She can be adopted with her sibling, Peanut Butter, but it is not required.

This sweet girl is playful, outgoing, and loves to “talk” with her signature little mews and meeps. Peanut Butter is affectionate, curious, and always wants to be part of whatever her people are doing. She brings fun and charm wherever she goes.

Peanut Butter enjoys the company of other cats and would love a home with a feline friend to play and cuddle with. She does not seem to mind dogs, though calmer pups who respect her space would be the best fit.

Peanut Butter shares a special bond with her sister, Jelly, and helps bring out Jelly’s confidence. They would love to be adopted together, but Peanut Butter would also thrive in a loving home of her own.
