"community service help"

I'm going to try and do a community help posting once a week where we can share ideas of items that help make caring for animals a little easier, or help with issues like smells, litter, good toys ect. If you would like to share an idea, something you do that works, anything at all to help with our loved pets, please let me know and we will share with the community.

So I'll start with an amazing product to help with medicating cats.

For pet owners who struggle to 'pill' their cats.

I have several cats as many of you know and can never pill some of them. No matter how hard I try, what technique I use, some are literally impossible.

So I took a chance and bought this pill wrap. I have tried other types like the pill pockets and my cats do not want anything to do with them, but this stuff...wow! Every single cat took it, loved it. They even ate the most bitter pills out there with no issue.

I must warn you though, don't walk away from an opened bottle, I caught one of mine licking it right from the tub!

It's called vetoquinol care pill wrap. It smells just like bacon. It's like thin putty you just wrap pill in tiny amount.

I bought mine thru chewy and wasn't expensive at all.

We still need forever homes or fosters for these precious kittens. Our deadline is this weekend!!

They are all socialized, litter trained. Toby does need a little more loving them the other though, he is still bit skiddish.

ATTENTION MISSING CAT
CAN WE PLEASE KEEP LOOK OUT

At the end of May/beginning of June our little Trixie started running around with a couple of Cats. One of the cats was black, another tan and white. Our Trixie is approximately 1 yr. Old . She has been spayed She is grey, white snd a little tan. She is white and tan around her eyes. She’s very spunky and constantly wants to play. Swatting her paws towards other cats or dog’s tail. We’ve been everywhere looking for her. She has gone missing around the GA/NC
Line Hwy. 75 N. State line Rd./Dan K**b area.

I wanted to tell everyone about the rescue I have officially begun and ask for you to follow.

As many of you know, I have been a part of ARFS and doing some TNR in the area for awhile now. It's just been something to do in my spare time. Doing this has opened my eyes to a few things that are really needed in the community.
Each rescue, shelter, sanctuary, clinic, they all offer something a little different from each other and all have different needs as well as some of the same.

I want to be able to not only continue with TNR, in fact this is and will be my main service, but I also offer things like rides to vet appointments, gathering donations, taking care of distribution so supplies go to the place which needs them and help with time, helping those who might need to schedule appointments, collecting food for those in need, directing calls to the appropriate place (I know this is a huge frustration for both those needing help and the organizations receiving all of the calls that do not pertain to what they offer, how frustrating is it to leave a message and not get a call back, it's not that you are forgotten, there are just too many calls coming in and time is a big issue.) I will call you back, if I cannot help, I will try to find someone who can.
I created this rescue for the community, whatever the need, whatever situation may arise, I will try and help. I do offer fostering when it is available.
I cannot promise anyone that I can deliver on every issue, but I will do my very best.

We also deal in wildlife, not directly, but I can send you in the right direction.

I am looking for volunteers if you are interested. There is so much to do, from making phone calls to trapping. If you are interested in volunteering for BCCAR or for ARFS please contact me or you can find more information for ARFS on the webpage.

Still needing fosters or forever homes for some precious little fur babies!
They are all socialized and they love to snuggle and be held. Litter trained too!
(There are several more not pictured was having trouble loading, I can send you others upon request)

As of July 25th they will not have a home. So this situation is very serious.
Food and any emergency veterinary care will be covered while fostering.
