🌸🐾 ADOPTION NEWS!! 🐾🌸

New souls awakened. New beginnings bloomed.

During the week of May 18-24, more ARE cats, kittens, and pups found something every animal deserves: a family to call their own.

For some, it was the end of a long wait. For others, it was the first time they truly felt safe. And for every adopter, it was the start of a bond that will grow for years to come. 🐶🐱

Like spring itself, rescue is full of new beginnings. New homes. New adventures. New friendships. New love.🩷

Thank you to every adopter who opened their heart.
Thank you to our fosters who helped these animals grow.
Thank you to our volunteers who show up day after day.
And thank you to our supporters and donors who make our continuing efforts possible.

🐾 Great news! Many items on our ARE Animal Rescue Walmart Registry are currently on sale, making this a perfect time to help our rescue animals while stretching your donation dollars even further.

Every item on our registry is something we use every day to care for cats, kittens, puppies, and dogs in our program. From cleaning supplies to food and essentials, these items help us save lives and keep our animals healthy and comfortable.

We’re looking for cat-loving, dependable, caring volunteers at all 8 of our SoCal PetSmart catteries to help care for our rescue kitties while they wait to be adopted.

The biggest misconception?
That volunteering requires a huge time commitment.

It doesn’t.

🐾 Just 𝟐 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬.
🐾 Once a week… or even just a couple times a month.

You’ll help care for our cats and give them the love and attention they need while they wait for their forever homes. 🩵

We KNOW our people are out there — we just need this post to reach them.

Why would an animal rescue need so many paper towels?

Because every single day, our team cleans hundreds of kennels — and to prevent cross-contamination between animals, we can’t use reusable cloths or rags. That means we go through an incredible amount of paper towels just keeping everyone safe and healthy.

If you’d like to help, paper towels are at the top of our Wish List this week! They truly are like gold to us! Every roll donated helps us keep our furry friends’ spaces clean and comfortable while they wait for homes.
