WE ARE MORE THAN JUST AN ANIMAL SHELTER.

When people think of the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society, they often think of the cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes.

But our mission goes far beyond adoption.

Over the years, our organization has worked to provide:

🐾 Rescue and shelter for homeless and abandoned animals

🐾 Veterinary treatment for sick and injured animals

🐾 Humane investigations involving animal neglect and cruelty

🐾 Spay/neuter assistance and programs to help reduce pet overpopulation

🐾 Pet food assistance for families struggling to feed their animals

🐾 Support for animals and families facing difficult circumstances

These services have made a difference for countless animals and people throughout our community.

Unfortunately, financial challenges have already affected our ability to provide some of these programs, and without additional funding, our shelter itself is at risk of closing.

We don't want our community to lose this important resource.

That's why we're asking for your support.

Help us fight to keep our doors open:

Donations can also be made directly through www.ohiospca.org or in person at our Adoption Center.

Even if you cannot donate, sharing our fundraiser helps us reach more people.

Thank you for believing in our mission and the animals we serve. ❤️

Meet Luna 🖤

Luna’s story is one of survival, strength, and second chances.

She came to us as a stray from a home overwhelmed with cats, incredibly sick with feline distemper. Luna spent six weeks in our isolation ward receiving intensive care, and she fought her way through it. Today, she’s healthy, safe, and finally getting the care she always deserved.

For years, Luna lived a life of constant litters and little rest. Now, she’s been spayed and is ready to leave that past behind her. It’s her turn to be cared for, to be loved, and to simply be a cat.

Luna is a beautiful black domestic shorthair with a gentle spirit and a resilient heart.

About Luna:
✔️ 5–6 years old
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Up to date on vaccines
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ FeLV/FIV negative
✔️ Dewormed

📍 Ohio SPCA & Humane Society
