Meet Mia, a sweet Maine C**n kitten who came to see us when her tummy wasn’t quite feeling right. 🐱🤍
Diarrhea may seem like a small problem, but in kittens especially, it’s worth paying attention to. Changes in stool can have many causes, from dietary upset to parasites or illness, and young pets can become dehydrated quickly.
We’re always happy to give our tiniest patients the care they need to get back to doing what kittens do best—playing, exploring, and being adorable. 🐾✨

Sometimes, the most important discoveries are the ones you weren’t looking for. 🐾🩻
This sweet 18-week-old Lab puppy came in for radiographs of his pelvis. While reviewing his X-rays, our team spotted something unexpected in his stomach: a coin. 🪙
It’s a great reminder of why comprehensive imaging matters. Even when we’re looking at one specific area, taking a thorough look at the available images can uncover unexpected findings that may be critical to a patient’s health.
Our team quickly recognized the concern and helped facilitate the lifesaving procedure needed to remove the coin. ❤️

Happy Labor Day from the hardest working (and best flower-smelling) team at AcutePet 🧡

Fun fact: Boxers are officially classified as a working breed. Our team's boxers took that job title very seriously this weekend. Shelby, our HR Director, has two very dedicated employees: Selah clocked in with a measuring tape (very important renovation project, we're told), while Sunny supervised some tractor work. Our Finance Assistant Veronica's family got in on it too. Their boxer Bentley took the day to stop and smell the flowers.

Whatever "working" looks like for you today, we hope it involves good company and maybe a snack. Our teams are here until 4 if you need us, but we hope you don't 🧡

When your pup gets hurt on a Saturday afternoon, you shouldn't have to wait. 🧡 This German Shepherd dad found that out firsthand after a high-flying game with the ball left his pup with a shoulder injury — and our Bellevue team was able to get him seen and cared for that same day.

Here's what he had to say: "They truly love animals and really care about your pet." That's the kind of care we strive for, every single day. 🐾
