Meet Solo!
Weight & Breed: 6.5 lbs of popcorn kernels
Age: 12-ish weeks old
He’s a tiny, scruffy bundle of mischief with gorgeous eyes and absolutely ZERO chill. 😂💛

🌽 When Solo pops, he POPS! One minute he’s whipping toys around like he’s personally offended by them. The next, he’s bouncing off the walls like a kernel in a hot pan. And when he knows dinner is coming? Get ready for the TURKEY GOBBLE. 🦃🤣

But wait… there’s a soft side to this tiny tornado! 🥹❤️ Solo is a world-class snuggler who loves being held and tucking himself right under your chin. He sleeps through the night in his crate, entertains himself in his puppy pen, and has mastered the art of going from FULL-SPEED CHAOS to lights-out puppy nap in record time. 🏎️💨

His current hobbies include:
🍿 Popping around like he’s auditioning for a popcorn commercial.
🦈 Testing everything with his baby-shark teeth.
🎾 Playing keep-away because apparently YOU chasing HIM is hilarious.
🐶 Following the big dogs because FOMO is real.
🐱 Being slightly intimidated by the resident meow beastie.

Solo is still a baby, so potty training is a work in progress, and his future leash opinions remain unknown. 😂 He’ll need the usual puppy patience, supervision, and help learning how to be a well-mannered little gentleman.

🏡 **Solo is just about ready for adoption** He’s settling into foster life, getting his puppy basics and medical care underway, and preparing for his big debut.

Short legs, big feelings, and a serious addiction to snacks. 😂

Meet Mei! This adorable 1-year-old, 15-pound Dachshund mix is basically a tiny little sausage stuffed with love, cuddles, and just a sprinkle of attitude. 🌭💕

She’s a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s ALL about her people. And treats. Mostly treats. 😂

Mei is crate trained, uses potty pads, gets along with other dogs, and is still working on her leash skills.

She does occasionally get a little jealous when sharing food or her favorite human, so separate mealtimes and a little patience are important.

She’s not bossy. She’s just a tiny woman with opinions. 👑😂

Mei is ready for someone to love her, spoil her, and appreciate all 15 pounds of her adorable little self!

Meet **Rhianna** — 10 weeks old, 13 lbs of tiny(ish), mastiff mix, four-legged audacity… **for now.** 😂 Don’t let that innocent face fool you. This diva is already planning her world domination tour!

😴 **BEAUTY SLEEP IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.** Sleeps 6–7 hours overnight in her crate like a pro. The morning-after p*e perfume? A backstage issue we're still working on. 💀

🚽 **POTTY TRAINING IN PROGRESS.** Take her out every two hours, and she's doing pretty well. Congratulations, you're now her personal assistant!

Both of these adorable guys were owner surrendered TODAY, and the shelter immediately reached out asking if we could help.

Our answer? ABSOLUTELY!! 🍀❤️

Because what better way to end a crazy Friday than with TWO new beginnings and TWO more second chances?!

Apparently, still waiting for someone to ADOPT HER. 🙄😂

Meet Roo, a 1-year-old, 47-pound pittie mix who has the energy of a toddler after three juice boxes and the personality of a woman who has NEVER been told to lower her voice. 💅

Roo has OPINIONS. Lots of them. And she WILL be discussing them with management. 😂

She’s part kangaroo, part professional cuddler, part neighborhood gossip, and 100% GOOD GIRL. ❤️

✅ Walks great on a leash
✅ Knows sit, down, stay, look at me & leave it
✅ Loves other dogs
✅ Spayed & vaccinated
❌ Cats — absolutely not. Roo believes they’re suspicious little roommates.

I am SO incredibly happy to share that we raised every single penny needed to help this family keep their two pitties right where they belong — HOME! 🏡🐾

I had the absolute privilege of handing this family a check made out to their property management for $1,100, along with a $50 bill that was personally handed to me by one of our amazing rescue supporters. 🥹❤️

To EVERY SINGLE PERSON who donated, whether it was $1, $5, $20, or $100 — YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN. Every dollar added up, and together we reached our $1,150 goal!

And THIS, y’all, is what rescue is all about.

It’s not just about saving dogs from shelters.

❤️ It’s about helping humans, too.

❤️ It’s about keeping families together.

❤️ It’s about building a community that shows up when someone needs a hand.

❤️ It’s about preventing heartbreak before it ever happens.

Meet Moonpie!

At just 4 pounds, Moonpie is a tiny little guy with a big personality. He’s had a pretty rough life, but you’d never know it by watching him now. He’s busy making up for lost time and enjoying all the little things that come with being a loved dog.

Moonpie loves his food, toys, walks, playtime, and a good cozy nap. He also has the cutest little tap dance he does when he’s excited, especially when he sees his favorite person in the morning.

His favorite place to be is wherever you are. Seriously, wherever you are. He’s a tiny shadow who would prefer that you never leave his sight. He’s not a big fan of his crate or being left alone, but he’s learning that his people always come back.

Moonpie is a funny, affectionate little guy who just wants someone to hang out with, a few toys to play with, and a comfortable spot to curl up for a nap.

After everything he’s been through, we think he’s earned a pretty great retirement. Now he just needs someone to share it with.

Our sweet old man, Woody, has racked up quite a few hefty vet bills lately…. Seniors are truly the most expensive part of rescue and we do not shy away from them.

But the problem that we always run into is people do not donate towards senior care. People do not donate towards dental care when we have to do them..

And Woody, unfortunately has had huge bills for both basic senior care and a hefty dental which cost over $2000.

I know for a fact, we won’t see even a fraction of what his bills cost us but in honor of five dollar Friday simply asking five dollars called into Holly Tree $20 called into Holly Tree any amount whatsoever towards his dental care is a massive help our bill even though we consistently pay over $1000 a week it’s still is gargantuan!!!!

So if you love Woody, if you love the fact that we do save the seniors please please please donate comment and share this post.

I don’t ever want to stop rescuing seniors, but unfortunately, we just never see any help with them and it really sucks.
These golden oldies deserve the absolute best and as long as I still do rescue, they will always have my heart and will always have a place here with us.
