I have stared at the monitor for a solid hour and have decided to go to bed. I just cant anymore. Today has been rough.

Sherlock had a feeding tube surgically implanted. I will post a complete update tomorrow.

Mary had another horrible seizure and she passed away this afternoon. I have no words. I asked her not to leave us while Mark is gone but she decided today was the say she would go see her friends! I am crushed!

This Evening I went to say Goodbye to one of our Alumni. Finnegan is only 4 years young but his body is ravished with cancer. Hos Parents will help him go to sleep tomorrow morning. They were generous enough to let Kristen who was his foster Mom and I visit and say goodbye.

I was pulled over on my way home because the Cop thought I was drunk. Nope I was sobbing and my glasses kept falling off so I was kind of all over the road!

Stick a fork in me for the day I am done! Thank you everyone for being amazing and helpful today!

Sherlock update!!!!!

He’s in the hospital being cared for by Dr G and her Team! Some additional tests and ultrasound is on the agenda! Some possible med change too !

He will also start a feeding tube today! Bottom line we have to get him interested in food and we don’t have the luxury to wait! He’s only37 pounds. You can’t wait you have to do what needs to be done!

He will be in the hospital during the day and at his Foster’s at night! There will be a human nurse (Foster’s daughter) assisting and I know Amy is very capable of handling this!

We need to get this guy in great shape so he can enjoy the rest of his life!!!!

Let’s hold a Hump day truth drop!

1. One of the fastest ways to p**s me off? Say something stupid like-

A. Omg that dog is too pretty to be part of the sanctuary program.
B. You just want yo keep him To yourself and adopt out the broken dogs.
C. You take too long to adopt your dogs out!

Wilson is a Sanctuary dog! Not due to health but due to behavior! He is a Basshole to anyone other than me! He bites people! He likes to chase the big dogs and nip them in the back of their heels!

That’s not cute and it’s not acceptable I suggest to whoever thinks it’s cute to put your hand down while he is striking and let the dog bite you instead!

That’s what happened this morning! We are working on Reactivity because honestly I’ve let this go on too long!

While the big dogs were walking back into the house Wilson had to sit next to me and watch them quietly walk in. Well that worked until it didn’t. Reached to pull him back and was not fast enough. So he got me on the back of my hand! My mistake!

It hurt like hell and it’s swelling ! Now imagine your large dog getting nipped like this and you’re watching it. One day even the best dog will turn around and take his ass out! Then what? What if your kids hand , leg, body steps into it?

This is why he is not adoptable. Not because he’s pretty and I’m selfish. It’s because he’s an a&&hoke!

:) he is currently leashed and tied to my waist! I’m going to break this! Because I don’t want to be that girl……:)

I guess the universe only gave us two days without issues.

This morning Sherlock is on his way to see Dr G and stay the day for tests. He’s not eating :(. No matter what Amy tries to give him he’s turning his nose away.

For a dog that has to gain weight, not eating is not an option.

Let’s see what we find today! Keep both Sherlock and Amy in your prayers today!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Lauren!

I could not be any prouder of Lauren if I tried. Not only is she the most amazing Friend, Foster, Mother but she is ALSO being Celebrated as the Best in her Business!

I loath Boarding dogs but not at Pack and Play, LLC, each and every dog is touched and played with, they do not linger in kennels or small play yards with 500 dogs.

Dogs that board there live life as if they are home. The Bonus? So many of our CLHR Alumni hang 0out at Lauren's when their Parents travel so I get to see them on the regular!

AGAIN, Congratulations Pack and Play, LLC this is so Deserved! So Proud of your hard work Lauren!
