Last month, we were so happy to get back to Katy and in the show ring again at the Great Southwest Fall Classic! Our riders had a fabulous show, and their hard work this summer paid off.

Our amazing assistant trainer, Faye Santanicola, was champion in the 1.10m Open Jumpers with her SPF All In Z. This was their first time moving up to the 1.10m, and this talented pair is just getting started!

Amelie and Action Man returned to the show ring together to do a clean sweep of the .90m Jr/Am Jumpers, winning every class they entered and champion of the division. We’re so happy to have this team back showing again!

Claire and Crusero also made their show debut together, with some great rounds in the 2’3” Weekend Hunters including winning one of their over fences classes. Claire has done such a great job getting to know this special horse, and we’re excited for their journey together.

Alyssa’s Sonet-V had another great show, winning the 1.0m open Jumpers with Lindsey and some of their best rounds ever together in the competitive .90m Jr/Am Jumpers with Alyssa.

Faye also piloted Hannah’s Olympia PC to her first show in the US with some blazing clear rounds, including winning the .95m Open Jumpers. We’re can’t wait to see what she and her owner, Hannah, will do together in the future!

We’re back to Katy in a few weeks, and are ready to keep all this good momentum rolling. Great job team!

Congratulations to Parker Gribble and family on their purchase of Just Keep Swimming, aka Fish! 🐠 We’re thrilled to have this special pony go to such a talented young rider, and we look forward to cheering them on together in the Large Greens and Pony equitation classes. We all love the story of the kid that works really hard to achieve their goals, and then knocks it out of the park. Spoiler alert, that’s exactly how Emerson and Just Keep Swimming first Pony Finals were.

All year, Emme has been stepping up and doing whatever she can to set her green pony up for success. She started doing all her own warmup divisions leading up to qualifying, and spent the summer working hard to prepare whether that meant trot sets up hills in the derby field or extra hours currying so Fish’s coat was perfect. And it all paid off.

These two put in a stellar over fences rounds, with scores as high as 81, to end up 20th in the over fences and 22nd overall in the Large Green division out of 86 ponies.

To say we are proud is an understatement! It’s been a privilege to watch these two grow and develop together. Fish is now looking for his next kid, but Pony Finals is an experience that will last a lifetime.

Big congrats to Anton & Money Trees on their out of state debut at Lamplight in Chicago! This team has been working so hard, and it paid off with several clear rounds in the 1.0m Jr/Amateur Jumpers. They topped off an amazing two weeks with a 6th place finish in the Classic!

We’re so proud, and love supporting our riders to grow out of their comfort zones trying these competitive circuits outside of Texas. Can’t wait to go back next year! Thanks HomewardFarms for your hospitality and helping bring these two together 💙

The SPF team had an amazing time at last week’s Great Southwest Round Up!

Our assistant trainer, Faye Santanicola, was champion in both the .95m and 1.0m jumper divisions with her own SPF All In Z. This new pair is already turning into an amazing team!

Sidney and SW Frequent Flier made their A show debut together, and had some great rounds in the 2’3” Weekend Hunters. We’re so proud!

Our adult amateur jumpers also had a great weekend with solid placings! Alyssa and Sonet-V are getting more and more consistent in the Mod Jr/Am Jumpers, and Anton & Money Trees are really starting to hit their stride in the 1.0m Jr/Am Jumpers.

The team is doing so well, and we’re thrilled with the incredible progress everyone is making. Great job everyone!
