Brodey Clemons left Giddings with $25,000 and a The Shane Hanchey Invitational title this weekend 💪🏼

Clemons roped four head in 35.35 seconds to win the aggregate at the 2026 Shane Hanchey Invitational in Giddings, Texas. He was second in Round 2 with a 7.52 and fourth in the short round with an 8.58, then picked up the $15,000 aggregate check to finish as the top earner of the day. That’s $25,000 in one Sunday against some of the best in the game for the 19-year-old.

After picking up checks at Pendleton and Mandan, Bradi Good kept her chances for a 3rd National Finals Breakaway Roping (NFBR) alive. Heading into the Governor’s Cup, Good sat 17th in the standings with $90,357 in earnings. She knew she needed to reach the final four round to secure her place in the 2026 NFBR. She fought hard and stayed consistent.

She roped fast in the semifinals on Sunday, but a broken barrier resulted in a 12.4-second run. With two ropers still to go, she walked out thinking her season was over.

Fellow breakaway roper Josie Conner ran back to tell her the news: there were two no times, so Good had made the final four.

In the end, Bradi Good split second with Martha Angelone in the final four pulling herself a $21,500 check.

Bradi’s performance is a testament to the mental side of rodeo and the importance of staying focused, trusting the process and controlling what you can. For her, developing a winning mentality starts long before she backs into the box at a rodeo.
