The Pytel Veterinary Clinic animal care team has suffered a tremendous loss. Our dear receptionist, Missy, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 4th.

Missy had been part of our clinic family for over 11 years, and she had dedicated many more years to caring for animals and the people who love them.

She was our resident #1 pug lover, always greeting everyone with her friendly smile, bubbly personality, and warm, welcoming presence. Missy had a way of making everyone feel at home, and her kindness and joy touched so many people.

She was an amazing friend, a wonderful colleague, and someone who was deeply loved by all of us. We will especially miss the little traditions that made her so special, like every Wednesday, when she would gather everyone's smoothie orders and pick them up on her way to work. Those simple acts of thoughtfulness were so very Missy.

We are holding her husband, Rob, along with all of her family and friends, close in our hearts during this incredibly difficult time. As we all try to process this immense loss, we will remember Missy for the love, laughter, kindness, and joy she brought into our lives.

Missy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her animal care family.
