You all know her and we all Love her. She’s the glue that holds this ship together, she’s the one who ALWAYS knows where I put things, she’s the quiet hand these colts crave, the best trailer backer, the only one who can keep me in line, wears the best ever travel day outfits (look for that video soon) and truly my right arm 💞💞 that’s right I’m talking about our very own Teddi Thomas 💞💞

Today I don’t just want to wish her that Happiest Birthday 🎂 I want to show so much appreciation and respect for the leader you have grown into 🤩 you an absolutely phenomenal role model to so many. Your ability to never stop learning and always look for another answer is such a joy to watch. The kindness and fairness you show your horses is second to none and that is so visible in the way they want to work for you, fight for your attention and go so far. You have surpassed so many of your original goals in this industry and I can not wait to watch you continue to run right to the top 👑

WOW Where has this Summer gone???? Ohhh yeah that’s right we’ve been on the horse show road 🚛 and since I’m so far behind in sharing let’s get caught up with where our team of superstars has been 🤩

💗Blessed to have the opportunity to always keep learning 💗

Your trainer having a trainer is not a sign that they aren't good enough. It is not a sign that they don't know what they are doing.

I would be far more concerned about a trainer who thinks they've learned everything there is to learn. Horses are too complicated for that.

There is always another discipline to learn from. Another horse that teaches you something you didn't know. Another rider who sees something differently. Another trainer who has a skill you haven't developed yet.

Having someone you trust enough to say, "Hey, I don't know. Help me," isn't weakness.

It's humility.

And it's how you get better.

I don't want to be the trainer who thinks she has all the answers. I want to be the trainer who knows where to go when she doesn't.

Because the second you decide you know everything, you've probably stopped learning.

And in this industry, the trainers who keep learning are the ones I want working with my horses.
