What a beautiful morning at First Baptist Church of Thurmont on June 14th! ☀️🐾🦙

Church was even more special with some amazing therapy animal teams there to greet everyone. Team Everlast, Raymond, Willie, and Lucy enjoyed meeting children, parents, and members of the congregation throughout the morning.

The kids especially loved learning all about Everlast the Alpaca and getting up close to this gentle and friendly therapy animal. Everyone knows and loves Raymond, and who could forget "I Love Lucy"—such fun names that make our teams easy to remember! And let's not forget Willie... isn't he the best? ❤️

Special coloring pages were created just for the event, giving children a fun activity while learning about therapy animals and the comfort they bring to our community.

A huge thank you to the members of First Baptist Church of Thurmont for the invitation and warm hospitality. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again!

On June 10th, Wags For Hope had the pleasure of visiting Middletown High School! 🐾

Teams Regan and Charnay spent time meeting students, teachers, and staff, sharing smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags throughout the day. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and to experience the positive impact that therapy dogs can bring to a school community.

Thank you to Middletown High School for welcoming us and allowing our teams to spend time with your amazing students and staff. We had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again!

🐾📚 What a great visit!

Wags For Hope therapy dog teams Max and Teddy visited Urbana Elementary School on Friday, June 6th, where they spent time with an excited third-grade classroom.

The students were thrilled to welcome these pawsome therapy dogs, sharing smiles, pets, and plenty of tail-wagging moments. Visits like these help create positive connections, reduce stress, and bring joy to students and staff alike.

Thank you to Urbana Elementary School for inviting us to spend part of the day with such an amazing group of students!

Wags For Hope was honored to attend Frederick Health's Summer Employee Giving Drive and help spread a little extra joy to the incredible employees who make a difference every day.

Dressed in their summer best, our therapy dog teams enjoyed visiting with staff members, sharing smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags. It was wonderful to celebrate a team that truly supports one another and embodies compassion, dedication, and generosity.

As Frederick Health kicks off its Summer Employee Giving Drive, we join in recognizing and thanking the amazing employees whose commitment impacts patients, the organization, and the community every day. Employee giving is just one of the many ways these individuals give back, and we are grateful to have been part of this special celebration.

Join us for a fun-filled morning at Furmont Days in Thurmont on Saturday, June 6! This event is open to all Wags For Hope teams, and we would love to see you there representing our organization and enjoying the festivities.

Wags For Hope will have an information table staffed by two of our members, so stop by to say hello, learn more about our therapy animal programs, and share the benefits of therapy animal visits with the community. Interested in joining Wags for Hope? Sign up at this event!
