Named after Ghostbusters characters, these Great Pyrenees puppies and are ready to be your #1 boo! 👻 These 3-month-old puppies are as loving as they are fluffy. Adopters should know they will likely grow to be 100+ lbs and will require regular grooming!

Tiggs has never missed a meal🍽️👅…or a chance to steal your heart!

He’s 10 years old, sweet as can be and fully convinced that any lap is his lap for napping.

Tiggs is 21 pounds of pure cuteness but is working on his Summer bod at the moment. He is on a weight management plan that his adopters will need to keep him on as well as a regular grooming schedule. Come visit Tiggs tomorrow from 11a-6p and fall in love!

✨June Spotlight: Jennifer!✨

Jennifer has been volunteering for Humane Fort Wayne for the last year walking dogs, cleaning kennels and helping out at adoption events. She is also on our Volunteer Advocacy Committee.

Her favorite part about volunteering at Humane Fort Wayne is the people. Jennifer says, "I show up for the dogs, but the staff and other volunteers are what keep me coming back. Everyone just genuinely cares." She also loves volunteering at adoption events and helping people find their "soul dog". Those interactions have been some of her most memorable moments. 🐾

Jennifer adds, "I brag about this shelter constantly. Family, coworkers, strangers - if you give me an opening, I'm talking about Humane Fort Wayne. I just love this place." And we love having her as a volunteer!

We are so grateful for Jennifer and the 800+ volunteers who serve pets and people every day and allow us to do all that we do!🩵

Looking for a howling good time? We have just what you need - a Husky! 🐶

Goose is a 1 year old Husky mix with lots of energy and an obsession with water. 💦 Give her a kiddie pool and she's in heaven! She's a sweet, fun girl who loves going on adventures and meeting new friends. She'll sing to you whenever she gets a chance so there's never a dull (or quiet) moment. 🎤

Since Goose is a high-energy dog, we recommend that she goes to a home with older kids, no children under 12 please. If you have other dogs, great! We just ask you to bring them in to meet with Goose prior to adoption to make sure everyone gets along. 🩵

Looking for a less howl-y friend? Adult Cats are currently FEE-WAIVED and we have so many friendly ones to choose from! 🐱

Please choose to ADOPT! 😡

7-year-old Chloe was surrendered to us this week. Along with Chloe's surrender paperwork and records, the owner provided the original receipt from when she was purchased as a kitten.

On paper, Chloe is not a special breed. Not a Ragdoll. Not a Maine C**n. Not a Siamese.

Though beautiful, she's a run-of-the-mill domestic shorthair. Just like the more than 200 kittens currently in our foster program and who will soon be in need of forever homes.

This is not intended to attack anyone, but to raise awareness. PLEASE don't choose to spend $250 or more on an unaltered domestic short hair kitten!

Shelters are full of beautiful cats & kittens who are fully vetted and waiting for a loving family for a fraction of the price of a retail establishment.

🐱 You can ADOPT kittens from our shelter in every color that come already vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered for only $50!

And right now, adult cats like Chloe are FEE-WAIVED to adopt.

We got this sweet gal spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and now she is looking for her forever family! According to her previous home, she is good with dogs, too. 🖤
