What a great week of bringing learning to life!
This week, we visited 8 different Fort Wayne Community Schools elementary schools! Kindergarten students had the opportunity to get a firsthand look at what they’re learning about during their CKLA Farms unit. They interacted with our animals, asked great questions, and learned what makes each farm animal unique.
And one of our favorite numbers from the week… more than 500 kindergarten students got the chance to hold a goat!
A fun fact students learned: Cows and goats are ruminants! Their stomachs have four compartments, and they often lie down and rechew their food as part of the digestion process. That's called chewing their cud!
We’re looking forward to another great week of creating hands-on learning experiences for even more kindergarten students!
Bringing learning to life, one goat, cow, donkey, and horse at a time!
