Deer Ridge has some future zoologists!

We had a great day last week bringing learning to life with the third graders at Deer Ridge Elementary!

Our favorite quote of the day came from a student who said, "We were just learning about this stuff in class!"

Students became hands-on zoologists as they took field notes, compared and contrasted animal adaptations, discovered which animals have split hooves, and investigated why earthworms are invertebrates!

It was so much fun watching students make connections between what they've learned in the classroom and the animals standing right in front of them!

A huge thank-you to the students and staff at Deer Ridge Elementary! You're doing some great things, and we're grateful you allowed us to be part of your learning!

We loved welcoming the residents and staff of Hope Alive for an evening at the farm last week!

Great job 3rd grade Zoologists!

We had a blast this past week bringing learning to life for third graders at Waynedale and Shambaugh Elementary!

Students became hands-on zoologists, reinforcing what they've been learning in class about vertebrates, invertebrates, mammals, and animal adaptations!

They classified animals, compared warm-blooded and cold-blooded creatures, made observations, and recorded their discoveries in field notes.

We don't have many invertebrates at the farm, but our trusty earthworms came through! Every student had the chance to hold and investigate one!

Our favorite quote of the day came from a student who said, "We should do this every day!"

We love bringing classroom learning to life, one animal at a time!

Bringing Learning to Life at Hooley Farms!

We were thrilled to be featured on NewsChannel 15 today!

One of our greatest joys is bringing hands-on learning experiences directly to students that connect with what they're learning in their classrooms! No bus needed, we come to you.

🐮 Future Farmers: Students get up close and personal with farm animals while learning about their characteristics, care, and importance.

🔬 Young Zoologists: Students explore the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates, investigate animal classifications, and become hands-on zoologists!

🌻 Budding Horticulturists: We bring plants and flowers from our farm right into the classroom! Students dissect flowers, sort seeds, explore plant structures, and discover how plants grow.

We would love to partner with your school, too! Whether it's animals, plants, or a little of both, our goal is to make learning memorable, meaningful, and FUN!

The beauty of the fall season is in full swing!

The Salomon Farm Park Fall Fest never disappoints! We had a great time giving rides and enjoying another beautiful fall weekend with so many families.

We also loved hosting an amazing group of moms from City Church for a morning of flower picking and some much-needed farm-fresh air!

What a great week at Hooley Farms!

From family photo shoots at the farm to the Lincoln Elementary Carnival, the Art This Way celebration in downtown Fort Wayne, and wrapping up the week at the Avalon Missionary Church Fall Festival, our animals covered some miles this week!

We also had another great week bringing learning to life for Fort Wayne Community Schools Kindergarten students as they learned firsthand about farm animals!

Thank you, Fort Wayne, for all the love and support this week! We’re incredibly grateful for every school, church, business, family, and organization that invites us to be a part of what you’re doing.

Dinner in the Dahlias!

What an elegant and beautiful evening at the farm!

Guests enjoyed an incredible dinner catered by Baker Street, while our Beverage Burros & Friends served cold drinks and added plenty of personality to the evening.

Surrounded by dahlias, horses, and the beauty of the farm, it was the perfect setting for an evening filled with great food, laughter, adorable animals, and memories with friends.

Before heading home, guests wandered through the flowers and cut their own blooms to create a vase to take home!
