Hank and his brother Hudson, not pictured, were the last clients I took on before finding out about the move and let me tell you, what a bitter sweet way to go🥺 Because WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I just met these goofy dogs and their amazing owners and I’m moving soon????

But like I’ve told so many of you, phones still work and I’ll likely make surprise visits more often than you think 💛💛💛

If you’re lucky enough, you’ll have the privilege of getting a dog who totally shifts your views on dog ownership.

I’m not talking the puppy woes, those are inevitable. I’m talking reactivity, selectiveness, pure athleticism, smarter than you style thinking, and so much more. These are the dogs we get thinking, we’re going to do so much!!! And then are slammed with the reality of how much work it is just to do the bare minimum.

So you’re reading this thinking, how is that lucky? Well you see, you’re going to learn all the ins and outs of your dog, I’m talking no secrets. No one will know your dog better than you and the trainer you inevitably hire. You will become creative in your exercise plans, mental and physical. You will become hyper aware of your surroundings while remaining as calm as possible. You will learn to communicate with your dog in a way you maybe didn’t think possible. You may even find yourself dabbling in dog sports. That’s why you’ll be lucky.

And to those who have been blessed with the easy dogs, no shade! A happy little idiot is *chefs kiss* 🤌🏼 But the happy little idiots aren’t everyone’s experience in dog ownership.

It may be St Patrick’s Day but while everyone else is seeing green, all I see is golden🌼☀️✨💛

Hank & Hudson are two of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet but sometimes even the sweetest dogs you know need to learn some better manners. Hank, my aggressive lover, is going to be learning that he cannot share skin with everyone he meets. Hudson, my sophisticated older gentleman is going to get some help with his possession of toys and sharpening up some of his listening skills.

Baci Baci Baci!!!! 🤩🥰

She’s new to the family but the family ain’t new to training! Going from being a one dog household to a two dog household can be a humbling experience to say the least! This is why it’s so important to have training under your first dogs belt to ease the transition.

Jack has been through his fair share of training and Baci was fostered by dog trainers which is just 🤌🏼 because now all we have to do is get mom and dad up to speed.

Mischief turned 8 this year. 8 years of working with you and your best friends!!

For the last almost 2 years I’ve been sharing the laughs, cute dog pictures and videos, and chaos with my wonderful partner. She’s embraced this crazy dog obsessed world I’ve created for myself with absolute grace and sometimes I think my three like her more. With that, her and I have been offered a wonderful opportunity to keep building our life together and, we’re taking it.

After 8 years in the Hudson Valley, I’m packing up Mischief and will be moving in just a few weeks. Everything that is scheduled is not going to be affected so, no worries there! I will be available via virtual support for current and past clients but will not be taking on anyone new so I can wrap things up as sanely as possible.

Thank you for everything Mischief Fam, I love you more than you know. Don’t be strangers. And if you find yourself in Massachusetts, let a girl know ✨

“OMG How did you condition her to wear shoes?!?!?”

Well you see. I put them on her and said “heel.”
No conditioning. No special training session. Just put them on, and went for a walk.

Not everything needs a fancy training session. For some things it really is okay to say, “get over it,” and go. Sure she walked a little goofy for a minute, and it was hilarious and amazing, and then guess what? She walked pretty normal after the first *literal* 2 minutes.

Thor, Sadie, Millie, Poppy, and Peyton are the dang cutest and all in one class 🥹

It might be hard to tell due to (some of) their sizes but this is a group of puppies with the oldest being just a year old! And boyyyy, puppies are humbling! We’ll be getting these baby brains to work a little harder and show them all the good choices they can make while knowing there’s going to be mistakes along the way.

What is All Levels Group Class?

All Levels is for, ALL, of my clients! Whether you’ve gone all the way to off leash ecollar obedience, just stuck with basic, or private lessons, this class is for you! It’s a place for you to come and sharpen up known skills, build confidence, and work out any behavior issues you’re experiencing! Don’t have any noticeable issues but are looking for a warm, safe place to exert mental energy? This class is for you too!
