Meet Peanut
Peanut is a 10-year-old Kentucky Mountain Horse, raised right here at Windwalker Farms. She’s a wonderful teacher who is incredibly in-tune and responsive to her riders.
She neck reins like a dream and loves everything from a calm trail ride to an adventure climbing hills! 🌿⛰️

And of course, Peanut has a few quirks we love—she loves getting her mane braided, and when she’s napping, she has the droopiest lip! 😂❤️

We’re lucky to have this sweet girl as part of our lesson program!

Since 2019, we’ve had the privilege of watching Vita grow from a student into a pivotal part of the foundation of our lesson program.
What makes her journey so special is her willingness to embrace every horse, every lesson, and every opportunity to learn. She has simply trusted the process, stayed open-minded, and enjoyed the journey.
That mindset has helped shape the horsewoman she is today, and now, as an intern at Windwalker Farms, she gets to give back to the program that has helped shape her.
We are so grateful to have watched her journey from then to now—and we’re even more excited to see where she goes next.🤍

This month, we’re celebrating Eleanor Johnson-Coady! 🐴💛
Eleanor has shown incredible growth in her riding, horsemanship, confidence, and willingness to take on new challenges. From learning new skills to overcoming fears, she continues to prove that hard work and determination pay off.
Her positive attitude, love of a challenge, and dedication make her such a wonderful part of our Windwalker family. We’re so proud of how far she has come and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!

A new season means a new opportunity to learn, grow, and reach your next milestone in the saddle. Whether you're just getting started or continuing your horsemanship journey, our fall lesson program is designed to help riders build confidence, develop skills, and progress at the right pace.

🐐🐇🐄 FARM SCHOOL IS ABOUT SO MUCH MORE THAN HORSES! 🦆🐔
At Windwalker Farms, our Fall Farm School students get the chance to step beyond the barn and discover the incredible variety of animals that call our farm home! 🌾
Throughout our 10-week hands-on adventure, students will meet and interact with friendly rabbits, baby goats, calf, mini horse, and Pekin ducks, while also learning about fascinating creatures like spiders and snails. 🐰🐐🐮🦃🦆
But they won't just be watching from the sidelines! Students will participate in animal care, hands-on activities, educational projects, stories, outdoor exploration, and time spent brushing and relaxing with the animals.
Farm School is an opportunity to learn where science, nature, responsibility, and hands-on experience come together—all while experiencing the sights, sounds, and excitement of life on the farm. 🌱

Summer camp is officially a wrap! ☀️🐴
What a summer it has been at Windwalker Farms! From riding and horsemanship to games, farm adventures, new friendships, and plenty of unforgettable moments, our campers made memories that will last long after summer ends. 🤎
We are so proud of every camper who joined us this season and watched them learn, grow, gain confidence, and experience all that life on the farm has to offer.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our campers and families for making this summer so special. We’re already looking forward to everything the next season will bring!
