Story of Maple Topaz Morbius Rapunzel “Meepo”

My partner and I decided to get ourselves a cat for Christmas after a year of being together, and I was scrolling through Craigslist looking at all the free pets, hoping to find one who needed desperate help. There I found her. A 7 week old kitten who was going to be “dumped on the street at the end of the week” if nobody got her. She looked miserable in the photo - covered in f***s, mid-cry. I told my partner “I need this one” and we drove to get her the same day. When we knocked on the door, two children threw her out into the snow at us. She was so small she fit inside a Big Mac box, and she had intestinal parasites. She got bathed and snuggled and fed good food, and all the vet care a kitten needs like vaccines, dewormed, and spayed. Despite our pretty equal attention to her from the beginning, she is a daddy’s girl through and through. She is now 3 years old and playful, opinionated, and regal. She loves to play with feather toys and snuggle me or our golden retriever, Wormington Squirmington. We got her DNA tested and she is a mix of Egyptian Mao and a surprising 12% LaPerm!
