🐴 Could It Be Ulcers?

Sometimes the signs aren’t obvious.

Your horse may still be eating, working, and competing—but something just seems off.

Signs that may be associated with gastric ulcers can include:

🔹 Changes in attitude or behavior
🔹 Sensitivity when grooming or tightening the girth
🔹 Decreased appetite or picky eating
🔹 Weight loss or difficulty maintaining condition
🔹 Poor performance or reluctance to work
🔹 Changes under saddle

Because these signs can have many different causes, gastroscopy allows your veterinarian to actually visualize the stomach and determine whether ulcers are present, their location, and their severity.

Don’t guess when you can take a closer look. 💙
