To all my Readers and Friends,

I am mortified to realize there are several errors in the Operant Conditioning chart on Page 32 of my "Discover the World of Canine Cognition" book. I have no clue how this happened!!!

The four boxes should read:

1. Upper Left - Positive Reinforcement - correct as written

2. Upper Right - Positive Punishment - correct as written

3. Lower Left - Negative Reinforcement - Should be "Removing an aversive stimulus to increase the likelihood that the behavior will occur in the future.

4. Lower Right - Should be "Negative Punishment - Removing an appetitive stimulus to decrease the likelihood that the behavior will occur in the future.

Dogwise will be making the corrections in the next printing.

Again - I have no idea how this happened - my abject apologies!!!!
