Meet Annie 🦋
Adult female blue heeler (2-6?y 30lbs)

Our little Annie girl - defying all heeler odds! This sweetie pie girl found herself in a peculiar circumstances when she was tossed out the window of a car in the shelter parking lot and abandoned ❤️‍🩹 Animal Control Officers were there to receive her. Despite her poor condition, she immediately weaseled her way into everyone’s hearts with her perfect personality and good-natured soul ☀️

Since joining FMN, Annie has been nothing short of perfection 🥹 We have absolutely loved having her ( her fosters even told me to not rush her availability!). She is going to make a lucky family VERY VERY happy! 🥰 She is kennel trained, potty trained, sweet’n’cuddly, and just the right mix of playful, silly, goofy! 🤪

Annie has been fostered with kiddos and other dogs and has done great! She loves to chase her furry friends around and chew on their ears and tails when they’re pooped out! She adores the kiddos and really any two-legged friends! She is a charming social butterfly with so much love to share. Her special aura radiates and lights up every room she prances into 🐶👧🏻🩵

With us, Annie has been a medium energy level! She is happy to match the energy of the home and is content with neighborhood walks and backyard herding! As any heeler, she would love any opportunity to practice her herding skills but we do not believe she requires this to live out a happy life 🥾

Annie is looking for a home with lots of love to shower her in, a big couch to snuggle in, room in the yard to run and explore, and either active people or furry friends to keep up with her! 🩵

We are celebrating a full week of birthdays at FMN 🎂♍️🥳🐶 Help us wish our virgo-stacked board of directors the happiest of birthdays!

Our board works tirelessly every day to help keep the behind-the-scenes gears turning and truly lives their lives with the purpose and mission of rescuing Alaska’s pets in need 🐶🐱

I feel so blessed to have found these two and get to work alongside them every day! Their dedication to our work and eagerness to put in the time inspires me to keep going and strive to make FMN the best it can be

Tomorrow is the BIG day for our BIG guy!

Sully gets his sweet relief from dental disease tomorrow! From euthanasia appt to surrender to rescue, loved on, and cared for 🩵 Sully has experienced quite the transformation in the last week!

He’s been the absolute best boy. Playful, loving, well-mannered 🥹 just the best!! We can’t wait to watch him THRIVE with a clean and pain-free mouth!

We’ve raised $661 for his dental so far! We’re 1/3 of the way there 🙌 We need to raise $1320 left to cover his appt!

All funds raised at our booth during the Pups & Plants event this Saturday 8/29 11-5 at Hawks Greenhouse Page will be put towards him!

We’ll have merch, stickers, and a $5 photo pet portrait station 📸

Meet the MJ Kittens ✨
14 week old longhair kittens & 2 year old mom!

We can’t believe it 😭 Our little babies have grown up, completed their vetting, and are ready to move onto their forever homes!

Since joining us early this summer, this adorable group of kittens have really grown on us 🥹 getting to watch them all blossom and thrive into the such happy, healthy kitties has been a blessing 💗

In our care, these kittens have been fostered and socialized with kiddos, cats, and dogs! They’ve come to several events with us and stolen lots of hearts! They’ve grown into well rounded, lovey, confident kittens 😻

All kittens have been great little house guests and use the litter box appropriately! Man in the Mirror is the only male and is the most outgoing of the group! The girls are all pretty similar - loving, snuggly, and playful! 💗

Meet Mei 🦋
8 month old female beagle mix (22lbs)

Mei Mei is a silly, goofy, energetic pup with lots of love and laughs to share! She has completed her vetting and is now ready to start looking for her new people! 🥹

Since joining us, Mei has been fostered with lots of doggos, kiddos, and cats! She is a true social butterfly and has made friends with everyone she has met (regardless if the feelings were mutual). She has loved playing with all of her furry friends and would really love to one, two, or three in her furever home! 🐶🐱👧🏻

Mei is kennel trained, potty trained, and eager to please! She has a basic understanding of general obedience but would benefit and thrive by participating in a puppy course or two! Mei is a fast learner and will no doubt blossom into the best adult doggo 🙌

Mei is looking for an active, loving home with lots of room to run, friends to keep company, and a large couch to snuggle! If you are looking for the perfect medium pup to join you in your daily adventures, considering adopting Mei! 🦋

Sully Dental Fund 🦷

We really tried to hold off on any additional dental expenses but couldn’t let this incredibly sweet, loving and darn good dog be euthanized for no reason.

Due to a move to the lower48, Sully’s previous owners schedule a euthanasia appointment for him and his housemate. Luckily, the vet team intervened and reached out to local resources for help

One of the vet staff members kept Sully’s older housemate and we agreed to take on this big, handsome hunk!

Immediately, Sully showed us just how good of a boy he is and just how much more life he has to live! 🥹 He is one of the sweetest, most happy-go-lucky dogs we’ve seen in a long time! He is a true social butterfly and has made friends with everyone he has met - two and four legged!

Unfortunately, Sully’s mouth is beyond rotten. He can clear any room he walks into with just one breath 😅 as you can tell from the photos, his teeth are in bad shape and requires medical intervention

Without a full dental, Sully’s teeth will only get worse and risk of further complication and infections are guaranteed.

Sully’s estimated cost of care is $1,981.50 and his appointment is scheduled for this Friday! 🙌 We need to raise these funds so he can receive this necessary and life saving procedure

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Interacting & sharing this post will go a long way and help us reach more people to lend a hand to Sully
