Wisconsin Satins put on a fantastic show at the Triple Pie Pursuit today. I was honored to make the youth awards and hope all enjoy them.

Heading home before 3pmā€¦Iā€™ll take it!

Donovan had BOB & BOS satins today. Leah was BOV white, and BOV/BOSV brokens. Donovan also took BOB in Cals and thriantas.

I had BOV/BOSV blue and himi but was most excited to be mostly packed up by 2pm šŸ˜‚

Pretty great State Convention with some great friends!

I was honored (and shocked) to win BOB with my intermediate blue buck who was almost a cull. I thought he was ugly as heck but I guess heā€™s growing on me!

We had several BOV/BOSV wins in youth satins from our favorite satin judge, Mike. Leahā€™s Prince was BOS and Donovanā€™s otter doe Alibi was best colored fur.

Donovan scored a BOB with Sushi, a nice end to her Thrianta show career as she heads into her brood doe career next.

The Californian classes were some of the biggest weā€™ve seen in some time. Donovan earned a 1st place senior doe and 1st place junior doe who went onto win BOS.

Leah and Donovan were both runner-up in their royalty competitions. Donovan was given a blue holicer to use as a showmanship rabbit and Leah did super for her first time with showmanship.

For year end sweepstakes, I was 2nd open satin. Donovan was 2nd in Cals, thriantas, and satins. Leah got her first 1st in satin sweeps for Wi. A good year for us all!

Now for a relaxing evening in the camper, some sleeping in, and day 2 tomorrow!

Headed to WI State Convention with 30 rabbits in tow. Leah and Donovan are competing in royalty and youth contests this morning!

Considering we usually hit 1-2 ARBA shows a month, the stretch from June to August with nothing in between seemed sooooo long. Glad to be back at it today to kick off the fall show season. Our first Illinois show was great.

I had a great run in open with my broken black doe, Forbidden Fruit, taking BOB all 3 shows. My blue junior buck was BOS for two of those.

The kids had mostly young satins to show and really have weird mix of young/growing rabbits so we werenā€™t sure how things would go. Leah still ended up BOS in show C with a white buck. Donovan had nice comments on his otters and blacks and Leah took most of the white BOV/BOSVs.

I had to scratch two Cals for entry errors on my part. Despite only have 2 senior does to show, Donovanā€™s doe still managed to get BOB all 3 shows. One BIS judge remarked she would have been a contender on the BIS table if she was cleaned up a bit(unfortunately she stained herself while we were on vacation).

Looking forward to state convention in a few weeks.
