Meet Jelloco 🐾🤍
This 7 year-old Vizsla is the sweetest girl ever with the most gentle soul. While she can be a little nervous at times, she handles everything so bravely and just wants to feel safe and loved.

With a few soft words, extra patience, and lots of gentle pets, Jelloco slowly warms up and shows her affectionate, cuddly side—and it’s the absolute best 🥺🤍

We’re so proud of this sweet girl and always honored to make her visits as calm and comfortable as possible 🐶✨

🐶✨ Dog Hygiene Tips from your friends at Oath ✨🐶
Unlike cats, dogs usually need a little more help staying fresh and clean 🛁🐾 Routine grooming and hygiene care helps keep your pup healthy, comfortable, and feeling their best!

Here are a few important dog hygiene tips:
🦷 Brush teeth regularly to help prevent dental disease
🛁 Routine baths help keep skin and coats healthy
👂 Clean ears as recommended to help prevent infections
💅 Keep nails trimmed for comfort and proper walking
🐾 Don’t forget paw care — especially after walks outdoors
🪮 Regular brushing helps reduce shedding and matting
💧 Fresh water and a healthy diet support healthy skin & coat

And remember — every dog is different! Some pups may need grooming more often depending on their breed, coat type, and lifestyle 🐕✨
A clean pup is a happy pup 🤍

🐾 Meet Leo! 🐾
Leo is a 2-year-old Husky mix with endless energy and a talent for turning his living room into a full-blown parkour course 😂🏃‍♂️💨 From launching off couches at home to zooming around the backyard at top speed, this boy is always on the move!

When he’s not showing off his athletic skills, Leo loves spending time outside and impressing everyone with his tricks — he knows how to “speak” and whisper. 🗣️🤫 Smart and adorable? That’s a dangerous combo. 🩵🐶

Safe to say… life with Leo is never boring. 🐾✨

Core vaccines are essential vaccines that help protect cats from serious and highly contagious diseases — even indoor cats! 🐱💉

The main core vaccines for cats include:
* Rabies Vaccine 🦠
Required by law in many areas, including parts of Long Island. Rabies is fatal and can spread to both animals and humans.
* FVRCP Vaccine 💉
This combination vaccine protects against:
* Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (herpesvirus)
* Calicivirus
* Panleukopenia (feline distemper)

These viruses can cause severe respiratory illness, fever, ulcers, dehydration, and in some cases can be life-threatening — especially for kittens.

Kittens typically receive a series of vaccines starting around 6–8 weeks of age, followed by boosters every few weeks until about 16 weeks old. Adult cats then receive boosters as recommended by their veterinarian.

Even if your cat stays indoors, vaccines are still important because viruses can sometimes be carried inside on clothing, shoes, or through contact with other animals.

Keeping your cat up to date on vaccines is one of the easiest ways to help them stay healthy, protected, and happy for years to come. 🩺🐾

🐱🥕 Healthy Snack Ideas for Your Cat 🥕🐱

Cats can enjoy treats too — and some healthy snacks can be a fun little addition to their routine 🤍
Some cat-friendly snack ideas include:
🍗 Plain cooked chicken🐟 Small amounts of cooked salmon or tuna🎃 Plain pumpkin🥒 Cucumbers🫐 Blueberries🍉 Seedless watermelon🥚 Small pieces of cooked egg

Since cats are obligate carnivores, protein-based treats are usually their favorite 🐾✨
Remember:🐱 Treats should only be given in moderation💧 Always provide fresh water🚫 Avoid seasoning, garlic, onions, chocolate, dairy products, and raw meats/fish
Every cat is different, so always introduce new foods slowly and monitor for any stomach upset 🤍
Because even our feline friends deserve a yummy snack sometimes 🐾

Daisy is here for laser therapy ✨🐾
And can we talk about how cool she looks in her little protective glasses?! 😎🤍 Total superstar energy.

Fun fact: laser therapy uses light energy to help cells heal faster—boosting circulation, reducing inflammation, and easing pain without any surgery or discomfort. Basically giving her body a little extra push to heal itself 💡✨

🐱🚫 Foods To Keep Away From Cats 🚫🐱

Some everyday foods can actually be very dangerous for cats — even in small amounts. Here are a few foods you should always keep out of reach:
❌ Onions & garlic — can damage red blood cells and lead to anemia
❌ Chocolate — toxic to cats and may affect the heart and nervous system
❌ Grapes & raisins — may cause kidney failure
❌ Alcohol & caffeine — extremely dangerous, even in tiny amounts
❌ Xylitol (found in gum/candy) — can cause serious blood sugar issues
❌ Raw dough with yeast — may expand in the stomach and become life-threatening
❌ Bones & fatty scraps — can cause choking, pancreatitis, or stomach upset
❌ Dog food only diets — cats require nutrients like taurine that dog food may not provide

Even if your cat seems interested in your snacks, it’s always safest to stick with cat-approved treats and foods 🐾✨
If you think your cat may have eaten something toxic, contact your veterinarian right away or call a pet poison hotline. 💙
