Rabies is becoming a daily threat - there are about 1-2 cases in NY every month! About 1.4 million people in America seek medical care for animal bites every year and about 100,000 people receive rabies post-exposure prophylaxis injections. Indoor pets need to be vaccinated against rabies. It's protective and also illegal not to.
