Some of you have had a chance to meet Holly and Steffanie in classes or at our scent fun match. Here's some information about Holly's upcoming project:

Through Otterbein University's biology department, we are running a study testing canine scent detection of Spotted Lanternfly eggs. Spotted Lanternflies are an invasive species that are harming native plants, and finding their egg masses is an essential part of controlling their spread across the U.S. We are looking for community volunteers to train their dogs to detect these egg masses. This study will include coming to a few classes over the course of the summer and an odor evaluation (similar to a scent work trial). No matter what level of experience you have, from a total beginner to an expert, we will give you all the necessary materials and instructions to help you succeed! If you are interested in participating, please read the attached flyer and scan the QR code to fill out a short application form. Lauren's next set of classes are posted to start Sunday June 21st. Come enjoy the air conditioning and learn new skills. At noon we have Lauren's Low-Energy Enrichment Games class - this is for humans with low energy - not dogs with low energy! Learn strategies to tire out your dog mentally and physically when you might not be at your best. At 1pm Lauren is teaching her Therapy Dog Skills class designed for dogs who have had some training and are ready for the additional needs for testing as well as for actual visits.

🐾 Reactivity Grads – We’ve Got Your Next Steps! 🐾

Our May & June classes are now posted!
🌼 May: We’ll be building on your foundation with new skills and fun tricks around other dogs—continuing to grow confidence and focus in a controlled setting.
☀️ June: Time to take it on the road! We’ll be walking outdoors in smaller groups, so there’s no need to be comfortable with car crating like the April group.

✨ New Class: Sport Puppy Level 1 ✨
Ready to go beyond just the basics with your puppy?

This class is designed for teams who love training and want to build a strong foundation for future dog sports. We’ll focus on:
*Teamwork
*Reward development
*Body awareness
*Appropriate independence
*Stillness and motion

Puppies can join after completing their puppy vaccinations and up to 8 months of age. Dogs should be comfortable working in a group setting and not bark at others.

🚨 Please note: This is not a general puppy class.
