🐾 HOW IT WORKS

📝 Preregister online and select the services your pets may need. Please submit a separate form for each pet.

📌 PRE-REGISTRATION DOES NOT RESERVE AN APPOINTMENT TIME!** This is a walk-in clinic only, with service provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

⚠️ Submitting the form does not guarantee that every requested service will be available. Final services will be determined in coordination with the veterinary team, and availability may be limited by funding and clinic capacity.

🪪 PROOF OF MORROW COUNTY RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED!
Please bring identification to verify your county residency. Please do not attempt to beat the system!

📋 Bring any available vaccination records for your pets.

❤️ A NOTE ABOUT OUR MISSION

This clinic is not intended to replace the excellent veterinary care provided by our local veterinary practices. Our goal is to help families who face financial barriers to obtaining veterinary services for their pets.

Because this program is subsidized through the Humane Society of Morrow County and a grant from Humane World for Animals, we kindly ask that those who can afford routine veterinary care through their regular veterinarian consider leaving these limited services available for residents who truly need financial assistance.

Every pet deserves access to preventive care, and every dollar matters when we're working to help as many animals as possible! 🐾

📣 PLEASE SHARE! Help us spread the word to Morrow County residents who may benefit from this opportunity.

❤️ Affordable care. Healthier pets. Stronger communities.

TNR program for Ft Defiance, OH residents

🐱🐾 TNR PROGRAM RETURNS TO DEFIANCE ON OCTOBER 7, 2026! 🐾🐱

The City of Defiance continues its commitment to helping control the stray and feral cat population within city limits. After seeing firsthand the positive impact previous TNR programs have had throughout the community, the City is once again partnering with Fort Defiance Humane Society to bring the Rascal Unit Mobile Clinic back to Defiance.

The next Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) Program will take place Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

TNR is a humane and effective way to help reduce the stray and feral cat population in our community. Cats are safely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped, and then returned to the area where they were found.

Every cat altered through this program helps prevent future litters and contributes to a healthier, more manageable stray and feral cat population. ❤️🐾

Now, we need your help! ❤️ Community participation is an important part of making this program successful. We need Defiance residents willing to help trap and return stray and feral cats in their neighborhoods so they can receive these important services.

🐾 Thursday, October 8

⏰ 8:00 to 10:00 AM: Pick up your trap and cat, then return the cat to its original location for release.
⏰ After release, return the empty trap to the garage of the 1918 Building.

🙋‍♀️ VOLUNTEERS ARE ALSO NEEDED! If you would like to help with this important community program, please contact Fort Defiance Humane Society at 419-658-2298.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: This TNR event is specifically for stray and feral cats located within Defiance city limits and for residents of the City of Defiance.

We absolutely understand that the need for TNR extends far beyond the city limits, and we know many surrounding communities are facing the same challenges. However, because this particular program is funded by the City of Defiance, participation must remain limited to residents and cats within Defiance city limits.

Please share and help us spread the word to Defiance residents! ❤️🐾
