My name is Emerald, I am from Montana but moved to ND in 2013. We started rabbits after our first mix farm store bun had kits, raised them up and then decided it would be a fun hobby for my son & I. So upon researching breeds in our state and area, I fell in love with the Dutch. We drove 3hrs for our first doe and I picked up my first sweet buck on my way home from Montana. Ours have done well for
4H youths & some are family pets. It was when my family & I were down in Colorado on vacation that I decided on Silver Foxes, never had I seen one in person. But I knew I wanted a second breed & decided that a rare heritage breed would be challenging. But I absolutely adore both breeds & are hoping to eventually feed our family & dogs consistently.
