Our Mission: To take a community-based approach to providing quality lives for animals by facilitating emergency vet exams, and education in humane pet ownership; by providing free emergency pet food and low cost spay/neuter services to the citizens of Macon County Illinois. New Hope Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization established in 2016 after identifying the need for a variety of pet se

rvices in the Macon county area. We are a volunteer based organization that is focused on paving a new way to help animals in our community. New Hope Animal Outreach strives to efficiently and cost effectively carry out our mission and core values. We serve the low-income citizens of Macon County with services that will enable pets to remain in their homes and out of local shelters and rescues. It is important for us to create a space that will benefit the community and the animals in need while remaining financially sustainable. We are seeking partnerhips with other animal advocates in our community to identify unmet community needs and develop programs to fill those needs. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit is registered at New Hope Animal Shelter dba New Hope Animal Outreach. We made the distinction because we are no longer a shelter and have outrreach programs instead. We stand with and support local shelters/rescues by doing what we can to keep animals from being relinquished to their care.
